OptiMATE USB O-108, 3300mA USB charger with battery auto protect off, weatherproof, SAE, in & out cables

I cannot comment on it’s performance yet as I am still in the process of it’s custom installation it into the car. I purchased it because of the greater charge capabilities and the 3 hour cut-off feature that will preserve battery drain for extended periods of inactivity. Time will tell how well it performs but I have no reason to doubt this product before actually using it because over time I have totally switched over to other Optimate chargers and have been impressed and quite satisfied so far with the quality of their products.

Best I've seen on the market:- 3.3a: plenty of current to charge newer phones vs most are only 2.1a- auto shutoff to avoid draining your battery without having a manual switch, only one on the market I've seen that has auto shutoff- the circuitry / bulky part of the cable is in the middle of the cable so it can be easily hidden with a smaller wire that runs to the USB port, most of the rest put the bulky circuitry around the USB port which makes it harder to cleanly install and requires a larger cable run to your phone.- integrated slot to easily zip tie the USB port in place- well made / high quality / reputable company

This converter was a life saver for yearly motorcycle trip. I ran the power to the handlebar area and pulled my smart phone into it for GPS location. I was able to tuck the adaptor into the battery area. I definitely recommend unhooking the adaptor over a long period of none use. Key feature I like is the female plug in has a cover to prevent water from getting into it.

Good quality but will drain the battery if left plugged up.

I bought 2 of these at the same time about 2 .5 years ago. 1 stopped working after maybe only 1 month and 1 continues to work at this time. I the the quality control is hit or miss. 50% is not a good number.

Does exactly what it says on the tin

Installato su BMW r1200r LC per disporre di una presa USB nella parte anteriore della moto. Chi lo acquista prima consideri bene le misure della moto in relazione alla lunghezza dei cavi del prodotto. Io ho lasciato sotto la sella pilota la parte elettronica del dispositivo ( quella con i led) e fatto passare sotto le coperture del serbatoio il cavo di 1mt con all'estremità la presa USB, che ho fissato al telaio sotto il navigatore. Prodotto di qualità che ne giustifica il costo.
