Neat, works well, has good clear sound,
I did a lot of research before buying this and am delighted with my choice....thanks other reviewers! I needed to replace a phone that had just conked out after many years service and with all the power cuts we have had recently I wanted one that works without needing mains power. I have not used all the memories and features etc. yet but caller display, clear sound quality both ways and the clear ringing tone all work perfectly. The red colour is very attractive and fits in, although I didn't think it would...the black version had an answering machine which I didn't want. The display is easy to read although someone with very bad sight might need something bigger. It looks really attractive and is very neat ...and all at a very good price.

Ticks All The Boxes!
Really pleased with this phone. It's aesthetically pleasing, and I often admire it, when walking past. Difficult to 'place' its style...slightly futuristic, in a classic sort of way. The designer should get an award, for producing a 'phone which is different from the legions on offer, but still retains the required features of the basic model. I bought it, partly because I was looking for a red phone, to tone with the colour scheme of my hall. It's in a lovely, classy shade of red, with a slight sheen. Regarding the sound quality, it's really good. I think the ring-tone won't be confused with any other appliances you may have. It makes me smile, and I'd definitely recommend.

Not as advertised
After trawling through endless black or white phones I came across this little beauty in Iron man red. Loved the styling and the colour. It had a backlit screen and 120 name and number phonebook. Perfect! so I ordered it. Sadly, a key feature for me, the name and number phonebook was not available on the phone that I could see. Just a 9 number memory. I contacted the seller and was sent a link to a more comprehensive manual but this appeared to be for a different model as the buttons were different. Went back to the seller again but no reply this time so reluctantly had to return it.

very good and works well
very good and works well. only one fault, a design fault, the hand set is very heavy and if you catch the coiled lead, it often pulls the handset off the cradle!

About as much use as a child's toy.
I hate to be the one to spoil the party based on the very positive reviews already here. However, I think some things need to be pointed out about this phone. Firstly, and positively, it looks really great. The design is excellent and the controls well laid out and easy to use. However, that is about as far as the positive comments can go. The most important deficiency for me is the fact that, despite the Amazon description stating that the phone has 100 memories, it in fact has nine (possibly 10). In addition these are two-touch memories, requiring a memory button to be pressed before the required number button. The phone is very lightweight and of a cheap plastic construction. It would be very easy to knock it off any table or shelf upon which it is placed. Added to this is the short phone to socket cable provided, amply labelled with dire warnings about using any other cable. Three alkaline batteries are required to operate most of the more complex features of the phone. Not only is the requirement for alkaline (rather than rechargeable) batteries hardly environmentally friendly, but there is a warning that should the batteries expire (after a period of about four months) all memories will be erased. It is very often said that you get what you pay for and this phone amply demonstrates the truth of that statement. It also, to me, is a valuable lesson in not buying on the basis of positive reviews. I have returned mine to Amazon for an immediate refund.

This phone is very good and operates well, good value for money, not suited to internet use.
If your transferring to fibre via the internet eventually this style of phone will not work, you will need an internet compatible phone operated via the internet (Digital) ,all internal telephone points an cables will become redundant by 2027…..that’s the plan

Stunning looking phone!
I love this phone, it looks great in my living room, as it matches my decor perfectly. The ringer is loud, but only has two settings, and I find the quiet ring is too quiet for me, so have kept it on loud. I mainly bought it because I wanted to be able to see who is calling me, as I was fed up with telesales and survey calls, so I'm very pleased with it.
