These Pomona brand name cables are high quality, just as they have been since I first bought some 40 years ago.The banana plugs are quality and fit jacks perfectly. The spring force remains consistent after multiple insertions. The wires survive many flexes and they have the same low resistance as when new. More expensive than many no-brand cables, these are worth their higher price.

I'm putting together a replica vintage computer, and it requires banana cables for power for peripherals. These particular wires looked the part, so that's why I chose them. And boy was I not disappointed! Even the print on wires themselves looks super vintage. Perfect.As far as quality, I see no issues. They seem really nice!But let's talk about the description, and I wish I'd read the existing review about this, but I think it's important to reiterate. It comes as "a set" meaning 1x red and 1x black and it's a "pack of two" which implies two sets. But actually it means one set of two wires.So I ordered two packs because I thought I needed three pairs. I was expecting to receive four pairs. But in reality I only have two pairs. That's not okay. Luckily for me, I actually only need two pairs, so it's okay. But two wrongs don't make a right.So yeah, if they'd fix the advertising I'd be totally happy with these. But right now that's a huge sore point for sure.If you've read this and are wondering whether they're worth buying, sure. Just make sure you buy one pack per pair needed.

Still long enough to manage.Advertisement: 1 star. When they say it comes as a set, it really does. A set in this case is a black and red cable. Makes sense to me! Now when they say it comes as a set (2 pack), it makes me think I get 2 packs of a set. So 2 reds and 2 blacks. Maybe shame on me for not reading more of the details, but I figured at this price I should have gotten 2.When I look up high quality speaker wire at the same gauge and high quality banana plugs, I can make my own for less and have a ton of wire leftover, which is probably what I’ll be doing. Just don’t like that it was misleading.
