Gloomhaven Custom 30 Piece Token Set

First of all, these don’t come painted... Fair warning. Second, it’s pretty obvious upon close inspection that these were made on a cheap 3D printer and not actually moulded. Each piece is made up of layered strands of plastic and isn’t smooth plastic. This is going to give them a weird texture after I paint them. Also, most of the “tips” of the sconces were smashed in so I had to trim them all off for consistency. The rubble tokens aren’t an exact fit and may get stuck, the nest tokens are a snug fit as well. Don’t assume that this is a complete set either, there are plenty of tokens not represented in this collection such as sarcophagi and hazardous terrain. Amateur stuff, not worth the money.

I saw quite a few negative reviews before purchasing this item but I went ahead and bought to hopefully enhance our gameplay. Both my partner and I are happy with the purchase. Yes these are 3-D printed and some of them have leftover filaments and you can see the texture, but how many of us own a 3-d printer and the materials to make these ourselves let alone measure and design the piece so the cardboard fits. I don’t have time or resources for that and these fit my needs perfeftly. My spouse is working on painting them and they have come out great. My only regret is that there wasn’t more...variety in pieces or that the basic first option should be the 70 piece then maybe the 100 piece. There just isn’t enough variety, like no traps, no poison, would be nice I’d there were sarcophagus. But really we love ours and couldn’t be happier that we have a more 3-d realistic game. We just reuse some components for other things.

While I really enjoy adding a new dimension to my Gloomhaven board, the pieces are very rough and the ones built to hold the nest chips don't match the cardboard chip so it sits wonky. I slightly regret the money I spent on this.

Cool stuff but way overpriced.
