I haven't used it on carrots but cuts lettuce and romaine perfectly

I really like that is light weight and can teach my grandchildren to make salads safely.

Had one for many years ,,,does a great job

I preferred the older, perhaps less ergonomically-designed version of this product. I was so pleased when I came across it recently and saw that the photo looked just like the one I first bought. Prior to that, I had bought what I thought was another just like it, only to discover it was differently-shaped. Then I came across this one and was delighted to see that it looked exactly like the one I preferred. The item I received, though, was just like the second one I got that was shaped not as much to my liking. I don't use the knife for lettuce, though both versions work very well for that. I use it for cutting brownies and other bar cookies. The newer shape is just trickier to use for that purpose. I will not try again. I now have three "lettuce" knives but only one of the kind I prefer.

Perfect for making quick work on lettuce for a salad. While a metal knife will cause the lettuce to turn brown, this nifty little knife works like a charm and no browning.

I bought this knife for my Aunt over a month ago. She loves it and raves about it to me often. She is elderly and tearing lettuce isn't easy for her arthritic hands.

The color I received is more of a lime green. As lettuce knife it really does work. I have taken to making salad for a few days and it is always fresh with no brown edges. So far it has done very well with iceberg and romaine lettuce.

Works like I was told it would. Cut up my romaine lettuce and stored in fridge for a week .... no brown edges!
