I have to admit I only bought this book out of sheer nostalgia. My son is 28 now and he loved this book when he was a toddler. His copy got very well worn and he knew it off by heart without even opening the book. When I saw this I just had to buy it. Just opening it I could hear his little voice recounting every word complete with his little lisp. Out of the whole series this one is by far the lovliest in my opinion. It has special status in my heart.

The book was described as gently used with no damage. It was a gift sent directly to an expectant Mom. I later learned the book was seriously bent with torn pages - clearly not as described. The seller offered to refund half the cost which was not a lot of money - the problem was, I wanted to send a nice used book and instead my gift was significantly damaged, so I cannot trust the description of used books from this seller, at least not for gifts.
