I just received my Emergency Weather Solar Hand Crank Portable Radio-VMEI NOAA Weather Radio with AM/FM,2300mAh Power Bank USB Charger,Flashlight,SOS Alarm.for Household and Outdoor Emergency Device(Green). It actually blew me away! It isn't a cheap little plastic radio. It has some weight to it and appears to be heavy duty and durable. I love the fact you have many options on which to use it! You can use the triple AAA battery source or the internal Lithion battery source, which can be recharged with the hand crank or the solar panel along the top of the radio. You can recharge your phone with it and it has a flash light with many different settings to use in an emergency situation. The sound is clear and has a good quality to it. There is also an emergency siren on it to where if you were buried under debris you could put the siren on to where someone could find you! It has a compass and a hook to where you can clamp it on your belt loop or backpack. There are so many neat features to this little device it's mind blowing and awesome all rolled into one little compact emergency device! I would highly recommend this to anyone who camps, fish, travels or just hangs out in nature or just hangs around the house. Especially if there is a power outage in a storm this little machine can keep you posted and in the know while your in the dark. But not totally in the dark because like I mentioned it does have a built in flash light! Do your self a service and get this Awesome Little Emergency Radio it's well worth the money!

Right out of the box this unit's functions all worked. It was delivered during an emergency where we had to evacuate people with walkers and wheelchairs. I did not need the unit for the evacuation, but if I did, it would have come through ... right out of the box.I drive for a living and have some down time. I don't want to keep the vehicle running to charge my phone and listen to the radio. I put this unit on the dash and the sun powers the unit, while charging my phone and playing the local Jazz station. I can tune for news or weather if I need them. If I have to use this unit at night, I can use the unit's light, of which there are a few modes.The audio is pretty decent from the speaker and even better with headphones. It has a compass, which I may not use, but nice to have.It can be powered with 3 AAA batteries, plug-in-cord, the internal battery, hand crank, and solar panels. It lacks powering via telekinesis, LOL.If I am in trouble, the SOS alarm is loud. The ISS can probably hear it and see the light.I hike the local forest. This unit can be hooked on my backpack.I was going to stow this in my earthquake bag, but I think I can use this for every day. I will keep it in my driver bag instead ... which I will probably have with me during an earthquake.I am glad I made this purchase and I highly recommend it.

I just received my radio and it seems really nice! The sound is loud and clear. It’s a little bigger than I thought it would be. It’s not ‘Slip in your pocket’ thin. What I feel really excited about is that my phone went from 77% power to 100% power in 42 minutes when I just tested the phone charger. That has given me a sense of security if/when I lose power during the next storm. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s not water proof or resistant and I really wish it had a place to store the charging cable on/in it so it’s handy and doesn’t get lost. The flashlight on it is nice and bright and functions as described. The emergency siren is nice. I think this emergency radio is great!

Radio has excellent reception/sound and is compact. When the internal battery is fully charged, it will charge an iPhone. I have purchased 6 of these radios for myself and as gifts. They have all arrived charged and in good working order. The first one that I purchased, however, would not work off the internal battery after the first attempt to charge it, though it continued to be operational using AAA batteries. I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement without requesting a return of the defective radio. I tested the replacement by running the internal battery down significantly before plugging it in to charge it and it works fine. The flashlight button has a tendency to become tilted, like part of its support has broken underneath, but it functions just fine and has not been an issue. Overall I highly recommend this product as it works very well, has all of the features I was looking for, and, unlike many emergency radios I looked at, will run on AAA batteries. Additionally, the company stands behind its product and will quickly resolve any issues.

This baby is the quintessential emergency radio. It’s the type of thing you want if for any reason you may be in a situation where you may be without power for a day or so. Nice to keep in the prepper storage room too! It is loaded with features. On board it comes with a USB output slot for charging items like a cell phone. Packaging includes a USB splitter with Micro USB and an Apple plug. The unit arrives charged. It is like a battery pack. When it needs more charge you can use the winding handle on the side, plug in a micro USB to the input port, Solar panel, or even put in 3 AAA batteries. It has an AM/FM/WB radio switch with volume and tune knobs. There’s even an extendable antenna. There’s a small compass attached on it. It has a nice little LED flashlight. SOS operation that will sound an alarm and flash the light. The only thing this may be lacking is the juicer to make a fresh drink :)
