800g Fresh Tempeh (800g)

I cannot praise this product enough.It's as good as home produced Tempeh.It's sweet, no bitterness or off flavours and has a nice nutty, mushroom taste.Not, tasteless, more delicate.It copes well with marinades and is superb as it is, just dusted with brown rice flour and fried (the rice flour adds nuttiness and crispiness). Adding some sea salt in with the flour helps a lot with flavour too.Fry it in oil which has had herbs or spices steeped in it (use a little heat)... Or baste and grill it.Fry it in sesame seed oil and put it on the table with a choice dips... plum sauce, hoisin, teriake, dill, mustard sauce, hollandaise... whatever.Dry it in a slightly warm oven and then put it to marinade overnight with herbs or spices in a little oil or water only, (don't forget lemon, lime, orange peel, garlic, and more). Being lightly dried it will suck the marinade in.The downside? It is totally more-ish.And, I eat a little meat... So I'm not some protein seeking extremist... I love good food... And, only eat what is flavorful. I will not bother with Tofu again.Now, when is it going to be in stock again please?
