ZTE Axon M Z999 Unlocked GSM Smartphone w/ 20MP Camera and Foldable Dual Screens (for Multi-Tasking) - Carbon Black

For the price, this phone is a no brainer to buy. Phone came brand new in box, unlocked and ready to use on the simple mobile network. I was greeted with a 4GLTE symbol on top as soon as my sim was detected and the phone connected to 5ghz wifi just fine also.I haven't been using the dual screen mode a whole lot but I have been testing it out and I like it (:It's great for reading, scrolling through the internet,even playing games and watching Netflix looks so good on this phone.While watching YouTube I was able to play a video in 1440p and it looks really good also.I have seen some reviews that have stated one screen has a different "color" than the main screen does but I've checked mine with different colors and backgrounds and they both look solid on my device.All apps such as Snapchat,IG, YouTube and quite a few gaming apps have all ran on the device with no stutters, hiccups, or any type of freezing.The camera is definitely good but not greatIn low light and darker rooms or environments. The phone will not perform as great as some other phones, but it's not terrible. I took quite a few pics and videos already, also downloaded open camera and the pictures look very good (:The only negative thing I have to say about this phone is battery life. I did check my battery health and it is actually perfect!No depleting from what I see but to be honest, this phone can bring you through the end of the day but don't expect a 2 day battery life.I'm already considering buying an external battery just in case I happen to need it while out and about.Battery life, performance, and camera are all things that we all look for now when phone shopping. For $130 I can't complain one bit because it's the best phone in this price range.No phone is perfect, and if battery life isn't perfect I'll take that over a crappy camera and a laggy non usable phone anyday.Also I would like to state that I am coming from the XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 7. INCREDIBLE phone but when it came to service and being able to receive calls and texts messages on the TMobile network,the phone didn't have the proper bands for me to be able to enjoy the phone without worrying all the time if I missed calls or texts messages.With the ZTE AXON M I made 100% sure it had the necessary bands for T-Mobiles network,and it does!The speakers are actually impressive. Dolby Atmos speakers fill the room and compared to the front firing speaker in my Motorola, this speakers sounds a whole lot more crisp.Be aware that there are NO CASES AVAILABLE FOR THIS PHONE. It sucks and is a very big disappointment for all of us :( using a phone without a case is a bad feeling but with Gorilla glass 5 you can at least rest assured that your phone will be perfect okay from a drop of no more than 5 feet. So for my tall friends on here, I'm sorry lolI will continue to update on the software experience, call quality,and how good this phone continues to run on a day to day use.05/29/2019I would like to add that I am using an old school type pouch case for the phone that I bought at Walmart for $6 and it works great. Protects my phone when in my pocket or when attached to my belt. It was a way better protection option than having nothing at all.Also, charging time is impressive on this phone. Rest assured if you are low on battery, just plug it in with the included fast charger and you will be ready to go in no time.I'm still enjoying this phone and my only "negative" review would have to be when using Snapchat or Instagram the phone will randomly switch from the front and back screen. Could definitely be an issue that the actual app needs to update on.Besides that small nit pick I have nothing bad to say.If you came across this phone and are having 2nd thoughts, Don't!It's worth it. Just be aware this will not work on any cdma carrier such as Verizon, Sprint, and boost Mobile.

Considering this phone is over 2 years old it runs remarkaly well! Although I ended up returning mine due to physical issues, while I had it in my possession it was a lot of fun to play with. Sure it's not the most powerful phone out in the market but the camera is pretty well, the display is clear and the overall functionality was great.Playing games on it felt smooth and having the double screens extended games like Angry Birds Dream Blast, Wordscapes, Pokemon Go, Typoman, Kingdom Hearts, Sims Freeplay, and my SNES emulator into a smooth, larger display. Yes it has the black bar in the middle and for me, it was easy to overlook considering the price I paid and how awesome it was.Everyone loved to play with the phone, the clicking sound it made when being opened was so satisfying and felt so secure/solid.Pros:A lot of fun to play with in general, the feel, the look, great design!Felt sturdy, solid!Screen was pretty good (for the price)Sound quality was also pretty good (for the price)Camera was really good (for the price)Battery was pretty good (for the price) about 8.5 hours with 2 hours of usage in a dayCons:No protective case available - ZTE made 1 case for it and it's been out of stock with no stock in the future for it.Screen protectors all have negative reviews due to it's folding screen creating a hassle.Camera app was wonky - sometimes it would keep going back and forth between screens when using itMy phone had a manufacturing defect where the screen was off by about 1/3 of an inch, so it was higher than the main screen; My phone also had a yellowish tint to the second screen, so I returned it.Overall I would keep this phone if the second screen had been fine (no yellowing / no 1/3 of an inch off alignment) even if it was somewhat slippery and the camera acted up. I really loved the the way games and browsing FB/IG/Google felt. The black line in the middle did not bother me at all. And if someone made a case for it, I'd be sold!
