Cute LITTLE funnel
I should really remember to check the size of things and not assume. This thing is little, as in sits in the palm of my hand little. The filter appears to be the same metal mesh used at the bottom of the bowl of a smoking pipe (for you are pipe smokers out there). I know I'll find a use for it but boy do I feel stupid.

Nice affordable little funnel but..
I bought this for my nephew to get him started. It has a filtering screen and it works but it is better to use a genuine Coleman funnel designed specifically for filling you stove or lantern with camp fuel (White gas)It has a pad that illuminates the chance of the smallest solid contaminants from entering your fount (fuel tank) My father left me two. They can be found on ebaY for around $15.00 in near new condition. For most this one will due. If your lantern or stove gets a good about of use, go for the Aluminum funnel from Coleman. It’s cheap insurance.

Tiny, lightweight. Read the dimensions well.
My fault for not reading how tiny. It won't even sit straight. It us about 2 inches across. Fall out of milk container I was using to collect rainwater. About as big around as the size of your gas can lid, or maybe even smaller? Too lightweight to trust pouring into without one hand holding the funnel. If tiny is what you need go for it.

Smaller than expected...only good for filtering small volumes
The Coghlan's funnel was much smaller than I was expecting. However, after re-reading the info. on Amazon's site I concluded the inaccurate perception was due to my failure to carefully read the description. The funnel is only large enough to handle relatively small volumes of fluids safely and is too small to safely handle situations such as when you may need to pour multiple gallons into the tank of a car or boat. Doing so while using this product could be dangerous and would require considerable care, time and patience to avoid overflows & spillage. It's probably fine for filling small tanks on white gas camp stoves, lanterns, etc. however. However, the metal mesh filter material provided with the funnel is not as fine and probably won't filter as completely as the more dense filter material I've seen used in a similar filtering funnel that's sold by the Coleman company. On the other hand the metal mesh might last longer, flow faster and s/b be easier to clean compared to Coleman's funnel. In conclusion, my overall perception of the quality of construction and materials is that the product seems cheaply made and the price seems rather high for what it is (even with free "super saver" shipping).

Great little Coeman Fuel funnel with filter, at fine price
Work great, fills Coleman Lanterns easily with no spills, fine filter may get loose; great customer service. They are not too tiny--some reviewers felt they were getting a toy key-chain funnel that was too tiny. You need this tiny size and the straighter walls to fill the fluid into a lantern or a stove without spilling.

Great funnel for filling your camping lantern or stove!
This is a great, affordable filler funnel for your Coleman fuel-powered lanterns or stoves. Not sure why people think that a stove/lantern funnel would be a full sized funnel, but it works great and it fits inside a vintage Coleman metal case with no issues. Appreciate the small chain to attach to the lantern/stove if needed.

Way smaller than anticipated
Like a chunk of people, it wasn't clear this funnel was for a dolls house.... glad they have since updated the images to provide some scale

Missing the filter screen
This small funnel is supposed to protect your precious camping stove from debris that might be in your fuel can or fall in to funnel while filling stove. Unfortunately the one I got is missing the filter screen.
