Q: Why is the plastic bottle collapsing upon trying to open it?

Yes , the bottle is pretty thin plastic material, if you haven’t used it for a while, the tip dispenser gets clogged up, or the bottles screw top threads got some liquid and it has dried … run some hot water on the top and try to unscrew the white top , once removed then use a paper clip push it thru the dispenser hole to clean out the hard polishing cream .

Q: Good buffing pad that works with this?

Paper towels, surprisingly. I tried using a microfiber cloth but it left my headlights foggy after trying to buff it out. Paper towels cleared them right up.

Q: How many lenses will this do? Front and back?

Hard to say. Depends on the severity of the lenses and size. I found my bottle at dollar general. Works okay. I'd invest in an actual kit if your lights are severe. Doesn't last long either.

Q: Is this for the plastic headlights or the glass?

It's for plastic headlight lenses that are on cars. It helps clean the plastic lens when it gets cloudy, due to UV rays, etc.
