Works perfectly.
Perfect mug warmer! My husband is handicapped and the flat surface makes it safe for him to slide a cup on and off. Weight sensor works perfectly. Just beware of slopped coffee which will make the cup stick. Keep it clean.

poor design
It would be really great if it came with an on/off switch. It would be nice if it had grooves around the edges so that drinks can't easily slide off. If something with just a little weight lands on it it turns it on, which could cause a fire. It gets very hot underneath, and makes the furniture hot. It fell off the coffee table and the top part came off. We spilled coffee on and around it, and the pieces came apart. My husband looked inside and the wires had burned a little, which is a complete fire hazard.
