Good unit at a good price point.
Does the job well. Design of power cable could be revisited. Bulky attachment adds several inches to the unit depth, perhaps a right angle plug would be better.

Handy power supply
Bought this to top balance LiFePO4 batteries. Should have gotten the 20A version. At 5 Amps it took several days to charge the 100A battery bank. All in all, it is easy to use and runs relatively quiet. It switches nicely from constant current to constant voltage. Worked for what it was purchased for.

Pretty good for the price, but you might have to fix some stuff (I did).
Mine came with the negative terminal hanging loose, which I guess some other people had as well. I didn't mind so much as it isn't a hard fix (just grab a PH2 screwdriver and a 7mm wrench) but it is pretty poor quality to ship something in that kind of state. I suppose if you really want to you could easily replace the terminals with some nicer ones as these are pretty mediocre. The accuracy of the display could be better, and there is no reason to buy the 4 digit versions as they will do you no good at all. Volts were within 0.01, but the current was a bit further off.One potential big issue is the ripple and switching noise. If you want to use this for ham / amateur radio that I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Looking at the scope capture you can see the switching frequency has spikes every 15us (66.66khz) and a smaller ripple at about seven times that, so if you are using an SDR it'll probably create noise spikes every 66khz. (yes that scope capture is zoomed way in.)That small amount of noise won't hurt battery charging, electro plating, or even most micro controller / Arduino projects, but if you need a clean supply, this ain't it and you'll need to add some more filtering.I intend to use this as more of a workhorse supply where I can't use my other fixed 5v or 12v supplies so I'm not going to be returning it or anything, but as always, caveat emptor.

light duty power supply
I got the 10amp model just as a safety buffer. Most of my stuff used on it is 2 to 5 amps max. This power supply never seems to struggle under load and is very quiet. The display is easy to read, and the included instructions could be understood by anyone close-by. Fan comes on automatically when required by settings. It is also variable speed so it is quiet during most loaded operations. A great buy at intro prices for a basic no bones model that gets the job done.
