A great weekly prevention/maintenance addition.
I like this stuff a lot. I’m new to the hobby and spend a lot of time in fish forums. This product was talked about a lot. And I knew I wanted to pick some up for water changes and/or stressful moments. I use all seachem products. But their stress product is more like a medication. It has a disinfectant in it. I was wanting something to chill the fish out and have healing properties. A slime coat product. This product fits that bill. So yes I am going to be adding it to every water change or new addition....basically once a week. At the time, my fish I had somehow...well say he bumped his head, ramming it into the gravel trying to get snail food. This healed it right up. And he noticeably calms down. He really does seem very peaceful after I add this. And it’s not temporary. His whole demeanor has changed. I like that this ia slime coat focused. I like the extra vitamins. I feel like a better fish parent because of this product. If ever a time comes that I need to medicate this product will be an obvious additions. It absorbs medications and sticks it on the fish. It’s just a great product. It’s a little odd that’s kordon isn’t as popular as it used to be. I’m glad I found this and was able to buy it.

Fast working.
This is amazing! if you add the correct dosage You can hardly see it in the water, If at all. It really does help with the scales. It was very easy to use, and didn't affect the water quality.

Good product.
Didn't work for what I bought it for but didn't realize I needed some sort of medicine to make this effective. Soo I was using it wrong. Nothing wrong with the product. Looks like it's good quality. Use error was the issue here 😅

Good addition to the potion collection
This is a should-have potion for your fishy friends, useful for preventative health care and maintenance. It's hard to say if it can be proven to do anything, however I seem to notice less stress amongst the fish. Improved slime coat and beneficial vitamins/herbs/etc. are also nice theoretical benefits. Supposedly it's also particularly useful while shipping or transporting fish because of the de-stressing ability. While not a mandatory purchase, it's certainly smart to have this on-hand as another weapon in your arsenal to heal sick/injured fish or to just maintain their general health.

Great stuff
The best polymer type "slime coat" product on the market. Binds great to meds, improves healing significantly, great just to toss in in addition to almost any other med. Occasional sore or something is the ideal use case for something like this. Wouldn't recommend the full amount regularly if you're an experienced keeper, healthy fish don't *need* products like this and I imagine you'll exhaust your chemical filtration more quickly. But still, another great product from the ogs, kordon.

Great Product
I use this product bi weekly in all my aquariums. I have noticed a extreme color pop in all my fish and overall just more healthy. So Glad I started using this. I use it bi weekly at half dose because of my plants. Just personal preference.

Works almost Immediately
My 6 year-old goldfish will bump the top lid and likes to splash out water to get our attention but looked like it bumped too hard. We thought it would go away so waited a few days and it got worse (1st pic). The redness started in one area and spread to other scales so we were really concerned. I’ve used this Fish Protector before with success so tried again by mixing in as directed and within 2 days it’s almost gone (2nd pic). This stuff really works!!

Product is reliable and work as described. However the price is high for the amount I am getting but we’ll worth it.
