Simply add water for a fast, durable, and moisture-tolerant solution that replaces traditional high alumina and sulfo-aluminate cements. ## Description This fast setting cement mix is a rapid set, early strength enhancing additive designed for use in Portland cement systems. Based on a novel, synergist blend of inorganic ultra-rapid set accelerators. The fast setting cement mix will provide rapid set times and very high early strengths when used as a partial cement replacement in OPC systems. Fast setting cement has been designed as a replacement for High Alumina cement (HAC) and Calcium Sulfo-aluminate cements (CSA) in applications where rapid set times are required along with high early strength requirements. Applications include cement-based tile adhesives, self-levelling floor screeds, concrete repair systems, grouts, and mortar/concrete. Fast setting cement does not require the addition of anhydrite as is the case with some CSA cements and allows the resultant concrete and mortar to be moisture tolerant, unlike some HAC cements which suffer from conversion and not advised for exterior applications due to low moisture resistance. This mix is recommended for use in products designed for interior and exterior applications. Additional applications include ready mixed concrete for rapid set or in cold weather to offset the slower set times experienced in winter. Precast concrete for quick demoulding and increased production times, especially when there are restrictions on number of moulds as is the case with large precast segments.
