Not Quite Strong Enough
The U Shackles are quite thin and OK to stop the fuel can move around if mounted on a flat surface, but not to support the entire weight of the can and fuel. Also, depending on the mounting, there is potential for the U Shackle thread or Nut to dig into the fuel can. Care should be taken when mounting to ensure the Shackle thread or Nut does not dig in and potentially wear a hole in the fuel can.
