The pumpkin scooper was awesome! Best one I’ve ever used. One of the tools broke but it was easy to fix with some super glue. Definitely my favorite kit so far.

By no means am I an expert, but using these tools as a beginner made sculpting seem easier than expected. The sculpting tools seem good for detailed work, but the handles are just a bit too small. Part of the handle came off on one of the tools but it seemed to work just fine. I did notice that if you put too much pressure on the wire sculpting tools, than it would bend a little (something I would imagine would rectify itself with experience, however I did find myself correcting the tool quite often), and the spatula seemed a little flimsy when scraping the inside.Overall, good purchase I see myself using this for future projects

These are much nicer than the plastic ones that you get at wally world. Ill be able to use these for years instead of it being a 1 time use. Plus this would be great for sculpting clay or styrofoam.

I purchased this kit hoping it would be like another I bought from Amazon and it sadly wasn't. The tools are a nice quality, though we only really used the two saws. Even the scoop was largely abandoned because the sharp serrated edge of it kept getting in the way of people's hands. The handles were a bit on the small side, so they didn't feel substantial enough in my larger hands and were also tough on those in our group who have arthritis in their hands/wrists. Larger handles and a tang that goes fully through it might have helped. Also the scoop having a larger, thicker neck like the one in the kit I bought before that has since been discontinued. Also, a guide for how some of the smaller, detailing tools could be used would be a good idea.

This set has all the tools needed for beginners to more advanced pumpkin carvers. The tools are sharp so children would need to be careful. Cleaning is easy. They seem sturdy enough to last many years for family pumpkin carving fun.

Love these tools. I used to use the cheap and flimsy carving tools that were sold at the grocery store, but boy did they hurt my hands, I couldn't get enough leverage. I LOVE these tools. I have had them multiple carving seasons now and they work great. I even use the tool for scraping out the innards of my pumpkin in my daily lift for scraping out the seeds from a variety of squashes. Having the right tools for the job is a wonderful thing.
