I work in roofing and I use it to mark , I used it for years because they last a long time and they mark very well , the measuring thread is thicker than others .

Good chalk line overall very functional design is just right for what I want. It's very smooth the thickness of the plastic is just right and has a good grip to it

This works perfectly for making a portable ham radio antenna, just replace the line with metal fishing wire.

I have one that last 5 year And I couldn't find it in Canada Thanks amazon for putting this online. Best chack ever It won't brake on you Because it doesn't have gears like other brands And the cotton line Can hold the powder great you can mark more then 3 line in one shot. The tip need to be upgraded But you can live with that.

chalk line he’s ever had. Has a think cord which makes for very visible lines. The only down fall in the first one e bought was the reel handle broke. It was almost -35 here in Canada that day so that could be why. I did purchase 3 more though because my husband liked it so much. Great product. We highly recommend it.
