due to starting a high alkaline diet but also needing and wanting something sweet and satisfying at the same time
I discovered these bars while looking for something with no sugar, or very little sugar, due to starting a high alkaline diet but also needing and wanting something sweet and satisfying at the same time. I have a big sweet tooth. I found that these bars are VERY filling and the taste is really really quite good. Its chewy and satisfying and the bar is very dense and heavy. I feel like I am actually eating something very decadent and it is very satisfying. I am usually full by the time I finish one of these bars. I keep them in my desk at work and while everyone else is pigging out on birthday cake or donuts, I am happily munching on my Think Thin bar. I have also tried the Chocolate Fudge flavor and think that is better than the Brownie Crunch, but this is good too, dont get me wrong. This is a healthier option than most protein bars for sure and it is high in protein. I would recommend these to anyone who is trying to get away from processed sweets/desserts and white sugar/refined sugar. I am no expert but if it tastes good I satisfies my sweet tooth, then I am on board.

A Great Protein Bar.
This bar was recommended to me an uber, fit, Nurse Practitioner as a good substitute for a less healthy snack. Not one to let someone else's experience, training, and common sense bend my sense of reality, I worked my way through eight other protein bars and yes, I came back to the Think Thin's Brownie Crunch bar.You will find a mixed bag of highs and lows in nutritional content among protein bars. Find a balance you can live with. All considered, this bar works for me: 230 calories, Protein: 20g, Sodium:170mg, Sugar: 0g, Cholesterol: 5mg, Carbs:24g, Total Fat: 8g. And, it tastes great (Brownie/Fudge)! It's gluten-free and that's a plus!At approx $1.40 ea (10/box) they are not cheap. But, there are not intended to be consumed in lieu of a meal. An occasional bite will stave off those hunger pangs for a while. This bar is tasty AND dense (filling). A bite of Brownie Crunch bar and a bit of coffee effectively helps me control my hunger.Keep an eye in the Sunday paper for coupons. Found $1.50 coupon last week on a box of 10.

These bars start every day!
I love these bars. Before I found them, I either forced myself to eat something even though the idea of eating made me feel sick, ended up eating something with sugar in it and later crashing, or ate nothing at all which would leave me dizzy by lunch. Terrible cycle. Im not a morning person, or a breakfast person and until I found these bars, had a difficult time with mornings and waking up early. Also, Im trying to reduce my gluten and sugar intake. AND on top of everything else, Im wary of products using GMO ingredients.These are my #1 splurge. I eat one every day. I throw one in my purse and enjoy a bar with my warm coffee. It helps get my metabolism started and gives my body protein to start the day. No crash, no acid reflux like I'd get from some other protein or "breakfast" bars. The flavor is nice, not too sweet, and its just enough to sustain me until lunch. Plus, with Amazon prices, I save around $3/box off the price I'd be paying at my local store. And best of all, the company is dedicated to never putting any GMO ingredients in their bars. Awesome!My bars always come in great condition. Never dry or white like some have complained about, though I fear through the summer months, it might be more difficult with ordering them online and getting them in perfect condition, but we shall see.

Delicious!
I think this brownie tastes soo good! I have been on a diet and trying to get adequate amounts of protein in my diet as well (attempting to cut then bulk) and I literally saved calories to have one of these like every day, until I ran out of the box, haha. The price on these is one of the best for protein bars period, and to me, this tastes quite like an actual brownie, just if you take all the fatty goodness out of a real one (it's not as moist as a brownie, and no, microwaving it doesn't fix that; I tried it...more than once)It just tastes like a brownie that is slightly drier but the coating makes up for it. It tastes like a brownie with the fat removed, but I do get brownie vibes, and not an overtly annoying protein taste at all. If you've ever had a fiber one 90 calorie brownie, I'd say it tastes just like that in my opinion, maybe 10% different in taste, but it's super slight. I haven't tried any other diet or protein brownie to compare it to, but for these macros and this price, and knowing I already really like it, I don't see why I would ever need to. (Also, ever other protein brownie seems to have a worse ratio of protein per calories, and is more suitable towards one looking to bulk rather than someone looking after their calories.)Only isn't 5 stars because it doesn't taste juuust as good as a real brownie but it's absolutely perfect in every way for someone who is dieting and craving one, in my opinion! Try it, the price isn't bad at all, and if you don't like it, someone in your family, or a friend, will gladly take the box off your hands! Or even me. (;

Good if you're sensitive to sugar
I've tried a lot of food bars, and these are the only ones both that taste good and that I feel good after eating. I'm sensitive to sugar, and most of others are too sugary to eat unless I'm in the middle of some endurance activity. These I can eat on weekday mornings instead of real breakfast and I feel fine and get enough energy out of them for my brain to function. One bar is also enough to keep me from feeling hungry until lunch time (admittedly not very long since I don't have to be up early), so they probably are good for weight loss (though that's not why I eat them). I've tried a few other high-protein bars, but I didn't notice the sugar effects, they didn't taste good enough to want to eat them again. The ThinkThin bars taste good (odd, but good enough). Do note they're full of sugar alcohols, so if you're sensitive to those, watch out.
