Review: great field watch ! - for anyone looking for a great, well made field watch at an outstanding price...look no further. rugged and handsome. the crown at 4 o 'clock is great for us fly fishermen, no digging into the back of your hands. certainly water resistant enough for releasing the trout back to the wild. the crystal is recessed in the case just enough to keep it from most scratch hazards. the lume is swiss super luminova and is as nice as watches 5 times the price. i loved this watch so much i actually bought the 'a2t- high polish' version just a few weeks after buying this one. i am definitely a BERTUCCI fan and will most likely be adding more of their pieces to the collection. note, this is not a gigantic comically oversized watch that is all the rage lately, but at 40mm it also does not get lost on my 7 3/4 wrist, so take that for what its worth. it sits nicely and looks just fine.

**Q: Is this watch waterproof?**
A: I have taken it regularly in the pool during the summer for extended lap swimming and it also showed no signs of water penetration to sea water snorkeling down to 15 feet.   I know this is not your question but from my experience, this should be considered a disposable field watch after about four years of heavy use; the adjustment dial (which is located conveniently to the side so it never digs in--to me it's greatest feature; plus the fact that the super hard plastic shell and tough lens just will not show any scratches, no matter the abuse-) somehow came off and I had to reconnect it but then; to my frustration, I had to figure out how to get the hands moving again; it has not frozen since and I can still carefully adjust the hands but I do keep an eye on it--occasionally double checking with my cell phone (it looses about a minute every month).  I just bought a second one in order to retire the old piece; it seems to be the only field watch available in the price range that I am willing to pay and that offers the features I really like.

**Q: Is the case black or olive/drab green?**
