4.5ｍでも問題なし。

同じものをずっと使ってきました。撮影中にメイクさんが足にケーブルを引っかけてしまい完全に断線。すかさずその場で注文、次の日には到着で助かりました。USB3.0の公称最長3mまでとの事ですがスタジオ撮影の場合は3ｍだと短すぎて使い勝手がとても悪いのです。このケーブルは補助電源など必要なしに4.5ｍで問題無く安定した画像データが転送されるので手放せません。

この長さで安心して使用できる製品はこれくらいしかないので、少し高価ですがテザー撮影の定番だと思います。

とても丈夫そう。。だが

ティザーで4回使いましたがなんと。。。カメラ側の金属部分がちょっとした力が入ったところで根本からぐにゃり曲がり。。。断線。。。途中で使えなくなりました。キャノンの純正みたいにがっちりとめるアタッチメント構造にしてほしい。

M1Mac不可！？

Canon 1dx Markiiで使用しております。MacBook Pro16インチのインテルコアでは問題なく使用できておりますがM1チップのMacBookに変更したら接続出来なくなりました。Canonの純正ケーブルにAppleの純正アダプタ使用では画像送れましたが遅く、機種名読み込めません。ソフトはライトルームクラシックです。調べても同じような症状の方見つけられませんでしたが仕様でしょうか、、、
