This is formulated with selenium and zinc based on the doctor's extensive research. He literally wrote the book on melatonin benefits and has been researching melatonin in the lab since the 70's. So this is the brand I continue to trust. He also explain why synthetic melatonin is superior for dosing than "natural" as you are not guaranteed specific amounts with natural formulas. If it's not working for you try cutting the tablet in half! You probably need less, not more. He explains this in his book as well. Depending on age we need varying amounts but it's generally far less than most brands or Rx's. Too much melly will wake you up.

I’ve used MSZ for a couple months. Just recently I’ve found between 2-4 am I wake and cannot go back to sleep. Upon reading the instructions again it states to take before bed, between 10-11. I tend to prepare for bed before that time. I’m a morning person.

This gentle melatonin is phenomenally superb. Nothing harsh.... just soothing sleep. Even if you awake in the middle of the night, just turn over and go back to sleep. If you have thoughts each night that keep you awake thinking, tossing and turning....this melatonin will allow your mind to just stop the thinking and sleep. it has been amazing to me....no side effects at all....just peaceful sleep and you are awake when it is time and you are rested.

I will have to use it for a month or two to be able to say if there are any changes. So far, though, I do feel like I sleep more soundly. The book was very helpful in regards to what to expect. I am glad I read the book.

I’m a repeat buyer of this brand of melatonin. If you need any help getting to sleep or going back to sleep when you wake up, look no further. This is an extremely tiny pill but it packs quite a punch. 15-20 minutes after taking it I can barely keep my eyes open. It’s so effective that my only caveat is to be careful when you take it. My husband woke up in the early morning and couldn’t get back to sleep. He took one too close to when he had to wake up. When his alarm went off he was still groggy, that’s how deeply he had fallen back asleep.
