Multiple alerting methods are included for free with the product and at no extra cost thereafter. The Room Alert 3S can be configured to send alerts directly from the device with no other service or software required. This can be used to send email alerts for any sensor on the device, and technical support and firmware updates are free for the life of the product. TLS is supported so it can send directly through Gmail, Office365 or your organization's email server. Access is also available to Room Alert Account, an online dashboard that makes it easy to log, report and alert on sensors and devices. The free Base version provides access, limited logging and alerts for one device. However, you can optionally upgrade for a low annual cost to unlock more capacity and more features. If you are on the Professional Tier of Room Alert Account, you can also download the Room Alert Manager software for an on premise software option for logging, alerting and reporting. Or, if you use a third-party SNMP monitoring tool, you can pull sensor data from any Room Alert device via SNMP and send alerts through that tool. In any case, multiple options are available for you to send alerts when Room Alert detects abnormal conditions. Since tech support is free, I would recommend reaching out for assistance getting one or more options set up that work best for you.

For Digital Sensors, the maximum cable length is 100'. For Analog or Switch Sensors, the maximum cable length is 900'.

does the web interface works on an offline network ?

Room Alert's onboard web interface (part of the device firmware) will not display if the network Room Alert is connected to is offline, however the Room Alert Account online dashboard (accessible from any Internet-connected device and included with every purchase) will show the device is in an offline status, and can trigger alerts to notify you if you choose.
