I’m a hair rookie. After spending 24 years in the Army, I’ve finally taken the brave plunge into the world of hair growth. While stationed in Europe, I stumbled upon a barber shop that sold Reuzel products, and I thought, “Why not? Let’s make my head a little more fabulous!”I went with the Reuzel Red medium-hold pomade, and let me tell you, the first thing that caught my eye was the container. It looks vintage—like something you’d find in your hipster uncle's attic. Seriously, it’s so cool you’ll want to keep it around for future use.Now, let’s talk about the smell. This pomade smells unbelievable. It’ll make your hair smell so good that people might start following you around, sniffing the air like they’ve just caught a whiff of fresh-baked cookies. But please wash your hair regularly for the love of all things holy. If you don’t, you’ll be that person with the hair that smells like a gym sock, and that’s just hella nasty.The Reuzel medium hold pomade does a spectacular job without leaving my hair feeling like it’s been dipped in glue or encased in a helmet. It’s light, it’s smooth, and it’s everything I never knew my hair needed. Trust me, this product is worth every penny!

I finally found a pomade that works! Love this stuff, love the scent. It gives my short pixie-ish cut a nice, healthy shine.

I have been using this pomade for about 5 years. It is by far, the best pomade I have ever tried. The sheen hides my grey hairs, the hold is amazing, and it's not greasy at all. The smell is just a bonus.

I like everything about this product except for the smell. Some people might love it, but it is not for me. But the hold and shine are great and it is easy to apply and clean. So a keeper for sure.

I have used a lot of difference pomades. The issue is that I have extremely curly and thick hair, but I don't want hard clumpy product in my hair. So I came upon pomade a few years ago. I started by using the ones that you can find in the store everywhere, Cremo, American Crew, Paul Mitchell, etc. Every single one of those ends with my hair being all over the place within 2-3 hours.With this pomade I have found that I can get a good mold and hold for the entire day, and because it is so soluble with water, I can re-wet my hair later and reform it if it gets out of line. It also gives a wonderful sheen to the hair, and smells nice as well.Overall, the can itself is a bit pricey, but you get a ton of product with it and it lasts me a few months every time, using it every day.5/5 Recommend

Great hold with a touch of sparkle. This great for beards. Condition my beard to hold nut never dry out. To reactivate put a little water on your hands and smooth down. No need to reapply.

I've tried many different products over the years and haven't been completely satisfied. I'm so happy I've discovered Reuzel. I've got thick wavy hair that can be quite stubborn at times. The Red Pomade gives me the hold I want with the flexibility most desire, and with a wonderful sheen and did I mention the smell! Oh my, the best smelling pomade hands down that I've tried so far. Regarding hold, if you want a rock hard super hold this is NOT the one for you. I will be trying the Blue Pomade just to see how much stronger the hold is. I wouldn't mind more myself, but no complaints from this one, just preference for windy days.- Smells wonderful!- Great hold, but still flexible (gives your hair spring/bounce back)- Beautiful shine, not crazy, just right.- The 4oz is the perfect amount/size. I suggest if you really are cautious try the smaller size but this is the standard.- I almost forgot, great price for what you get, that's called great VALUE!Cheers!
