Awesome product! We have our entire sunroom windows covered with this stuff. So I knew exactly what it was about. Our entire sunroom is glass windows so this was our best choice for privacy. My favorite bonus is being able to watch the kids play in the yard and they have no idea they're being watched. It's very bright during the day. Looking in the windows from the outside you are just looking at yourself in the mirror. Looking outside from the inside is just a light tint. At night however you can see inside a little and especially if the inside is really lit up....more of a view the brighter the inside is. This has never been an issue for us because at night our motion lights go on and our landscape lighting is on so the outside is not completely dark. This order I got for our front door which is all glass. I am so happy that I did it. I got a really nice birdfeeder that I set on our front porch and is filled with Blue Jays and Cardinals and our cats can sit 2 feet away from it inside and watch them and the birds have no idea. Also it's nice that nobody from the outside can see inside including people that drive by, solicitors, even the mailman...whatever. I can have my door wide open and still have privacy. From the outside It just looks like a big mirror which is fine because it reflects landscaping and flowers. nighttime is not an issue because number one we usually don't have the door wide-open at night and number two if we did the outside porch light would be on . The key to getting the backing off of the film is to put a piece of tape on each side and pull apart slowly. The key to successful application is to completely soak the glass. I used invisible glass and it worked great . The wetter it is the easier to apply. if it's sticking and not sliding around easily you need to spray more. The key to using the squeegee successfully is to also spray the outside film once it's applied to the window. it makes your squeegee work a lot easier. Hope this helps ! I'm attaching a picture of the view from the inside looking out and one from the outside looking in.

It Tremendously Helps!
I purchased the Gila Privacy Mirror Adhesive Residential Window Film to mainly help reduce the sun glare and heat in the summer. There are various sizes of roll depending on the project that you’re doing. There are instructions provided and it is easy to follow and apply the window tint. It will take few days to cure. After applying the window tint, it makes a tremendous differences in reducing the amount of heats and sun glares getting into the house making interiors more comfortable. All the windows are tinted to reduce the amount of UV light and heat coming in. It also makes the whole house more energy efficient for the HVAC system as it uses less energy to cool the entire house. The Gila Privacy Mirror Adhesive Residential Window Film also provides daytime privacy as it is reflective like a mirror from outside. However, one downside to this reflective surface at night. It reflects like a mirror inside the house and you won’t be able to see outside. You will also be able to look in the house from outside when there’s light. It is easy to solve it by just pulling in the drapes.Overall, I think it’s still a very good product as it helps to block the UV light and heat from the sun without decreasing natural light, is UV protected to reduce fading on draperies and furniture, and is easy to trim to whatever size you need.

Fits like a glove
Overall Experience: Most of the feedbacks recommended two people to apply the film, but i decided to take a chance to apply it by myself, and it worked out better than i expected. I ordered a Gila RTK500 Tool Kit, and it had all i needed. The main purpose for me to order this product was to add some privacy to my front glass door so that people cannot peep in, and my dog and I can still enjoy the view of the outside. Overall very happy about the quality of the product, including the tool kit. It turned out beautifully like a mirror from the outside, and added a tin tone to the glass yet with clear vision from the inside of the house.Pros: Good quality, fast delivery, clear instruction (I read the box and got the idea & didn't Youtube it at all), easy steps, nice turn out.Cons: The only thing I wasnt 100% satisty about was that when you turn on the lights inside at night, the mirror effect reversed. People from ourside could see the inside clearly, while you looked at the door as if looking at a mirror. I was hoping to use this screen to avoid putting up a curtain for privacy, but I might still need to do so for nights. How to: I used a craft knife to cut off the length that I needed, attached some duck tape at both sides of each corner of the film--one side to make it easier to peel off, & the other side to tape on the door frame to secure the position, which is the key to this one-person task). Make sure to spay a lot and make the glass and both sides of the film wet. Peel off the protection side of the film little by little as you applying it to the glass instead of peeling off the whole thing and trying to keep it in shape--that's when tragic happens. Leave some extra film at the edges for future adjustments. Start wiping the film from the center to the edges, using the tool included in the kit. Be gentle and patient; you may want to wipe on the film several times to make sure it fits tight with no air bubbles. Use the little cutting knife to carefully cut off the extra edges--do this little by little, or you may tear off the film.
