I did bruise from using it, but i also bruise easily, and the bites were more more unsightly than some bruises! This got delivered on the 8th Oct, and the bites are pretty much gone now on the 15th! Using it doesn't hurt, maybe uncomfortable, but for a brief 20-30 seconds and it's worth it to remove the intense itchiness of bug bites. Anyway, I was dubious when I bought this. But I'm so glad I did. Such a simple device, but so effective and I will ensure it's in my holiday survival kit from now on!
