I have a 5 year old kindergartner and with having to be home schooled because of the current pandemic that we are in, I wanted her to feel successful and confident in writing her sight words and practicing her sentences while on zoom calls with her class. In the beginning she was using regular college ruled paper, and then we tried wide ruled, but this notebook as been much better for her visually and allows her to form her letters more properly being that it has handwriting lines. I was worried about what other reviewers said about the notebook being flimsy, but I'm still happy I purchased it. Yes, the notebook is very flimsy, BUT being that it's not a spiral notebook, it's easier to push the pages down flatter so she can easily write. The paper inside is sturdy enough to take on a good amount of erasing as well, no rips yet! On the last page there are also 2 coloring pages.I would highly recommend this notebook for any child learning to write! I think because it's not a boring looking notebook, she gets excited to write in it because it looks special and I can tell you right now, if these simple things get her excited to do school work, then I'm all in!

My 6 year old LOVES this book! In local stores, the only choices for composition books are a few different colors of the marbled ones. My daughter loves that hers is unique and she loves the adorable mermaid on the cover!

My daughter is obsessed with unicorns and mermaids right now, so she had to have this for her school supplies. It's cute and functional. My kid is happy, so I have no complaints.

Our daughter loves the cute design on the front. The lines on the pages are perfect for little ones learning how to write. We got it for her to use in her kindergarten classroom.

Compared to composition books bought in the past (primary included) this book is definitely way more flimsy. It is cute and my daughter can’t wait to bring it to school but it is not what I had expected given all the ones we’ve purchased in the past that have been thick and durable. Fingers crossed it lasts her full year in kindergarten.

This is such a cute primary notebook. The top half of each page is blank for drawing and the bottom is lined for writing. It's definitely smaller than the generic ones I buy (# of pages, dimensions about a 1/2 inch shorter and skinnier, if that's at all a factor for you. The only issue I have with it is the quality of paper. If my daughter presses hard with her pencil, the writing can be seen on the next page, almost as if it's transferring on to the next page. Definitely don't use markers in it as the next side will be unusable.We use this book for home journaling and like it for its cute factor. But probably stick to the standard brands for school time, in my opinion.

I bought this for my oldest and she absolutely adores it. I was scare it wouldn't be the right size, but I was wrong. It's fabulous and I couldn't ask for more
