Product contained a lot of carbon dust and needed thorough rinsing before being put into my canister filters. The product works great. I use them in my Fluval canister filter as well as my Marineland canister filter due to them being more cost effective than the other brand. I will certainly be purchasing this carbon again.

I use these with my Fluvial 406 filter and always keep 6 packs on hand for when i need to change/clean the filter. It is an excellent product that works well to remove impurities and keep my aquarium water odor free and crystal clean, which is extremely hard to do with an aquatic turtle tank!
