Does this cause the feathers to stain?

No....I have never had that happen. I have been using this food since my African Grey was a baby....she is now 18 yrs old.

Is this ok for Indian Ringnecks?

I have been feeding it to mine for a long time but she is very picky and what she hates goes on my floor. I add fruit pellets for nutrition. The last couple of bags have hatched little moths which are awful and fly all over my house and rebreed and get in clothes and blankets. I think it might help to freeze the bag a few days before opening to kill larva or eggs.

Why did this seed go up?? And how can i get it now? It was only 40 bucks or so

Does this food have sunflower seeds in it?

Yes it does contain some sunflower seeds. Our young cockatiel loved those as well as the other parts. He ate the sunflower seeds first then all else. Funny, our previous cockatiel threw out those. Each bird is unique in their taste.

My Grumble Bunny likes it

I really like the variety of ingredients in this cockatiel food. I have several different kinds of birds that eat this food but my pickiest is a beautiful pastel blue Quaker (Grumble Bunny). I do mix a little Higgins Safflower Gold with this for my Quaker and he seems to enjoy the variety. He likes the pellets in this food and the numerous wheat berries. All of my other birds that eat this seem to like it. And with the price of bird food increasing up to 120% (depending upon the brand/size) this was less expensive than many other comparable brands/blends.

Cockatiel Bird Feed

This is what I feed my cockatiels. It was smaller than an I realized. But is sufficient for several feedings. It contains all the nutrients necessary to keep my birds healthy. They love the variety of seeds and nuts.Delivered timely and undamaged. Cost was reasonable.

Shipping my birdseed .

Beware of shipping birdseed. It gets packed in with two 6 packs of Sprite and 2 jars of coffee and bag was ripped and product spilled out in box. It’s expensive for me and I’m very disappointed. The actual birdseed is great and my birds love lt.Size:It came in 2 1/2 pound bag. High in nutrition and tasty.
