TP-Link Omada AC1750 Wireless Dual Band 1750Mbps Ceiling Mount Access Point – Seamless Roaming, Gigabit, MU-MIMO, Beamforming, Poe Powered, Band Steering, Airtime Fairness (EAP245)

This is my third EAP245 (AC1750) access point and I must say that I'm very satisfied overall with all the aspects. Following are the pros:-1. Easy to set up with the help of Omada software.2. Dual band 5GHZ and 2.4 GHz give compatibility, flexibility and higher speeds. On the 5Ghz I've managed speeds upto 800 Mbps. If you have a 100 Mbps or above fiber connection, then I would suggest to go for the the EAP 245 or EAP 225 instead of the EAP 110. EAP110 is a single band 2.4 GHz router and will struggle to give you speeds more than 60-70 Mbps.3. This access point is POE powered so no power adapter is required. If you have a POE enabled network switch, then you can directly connect this access point to the network switch with your etherner cable.4. The access point has an additional ethernet port on the back side which can be used to connect other routers.5. This access point can form a mesh network with other similar APs within the same network giving you a seamless access throughout your home.Some of the cons:-1. At Rs.9000, it is a little bit expensive.

Looks elegant and nice as compared to my last router which had 4 antennas. Also white color matches the ceiling.Speed is best with dual channel. Go for it without any second thought.

While the description states it supports POE+ (802.3at), connecting it to a POE+ injector or switch doesn’t give 1Gbps speeds, restricts it to 100Mbps FD. Probably it does auto negotiate enough power to its port.

Simple and very effective.Using a virgin media home hub which wifi is awful at best. Put the vm router in modem mode then cat6 into a netgear poe switch.Plugged in the access point to the poe and setup up ssid inc a guest network.Very very easy to do and full 200mb wireless download speed with zero dropouts after a week. Ordered a second for upstairs (we have three floors)10/10

Honestly I was skeptical about this access point considering TP-Link doesn't come to mind when you think of enterprise grade products. However... I was nothing but amazed once I got this product. The unboxing experience was very pleasant, setup was a breeze and the speeds are really impressive.They work so well for the price, was going to get the ubiquiti ones but this is just as good if not better.The controller software is also very well designed and I had no issues using it and it give nice detailed statistics as well.

Pour l’instant je suis ravi de ce point wifi / suffisamment puissant dans mon cas et assez rapideRéglages impossible sans installer leur logiciel mais une fois installé c’est très facile pour un néophyte comme moi
