Shoddy Delivery, but Excellent Product.
I have taken off one star for the shoddy delivery. It was delivered to the wrong address and stayed there for a month. Fortunately, a few responsible folk decided to reach out to the vendor for my address. Amazon, please look into the delivery history for this and take corrective action. That aside, this is an excellent product. After receiving this, I unwrapped it and dropped into my luggage as I had to catch a flight. It is light-weight yet durable. When folded, it is very handy as it sits flush against the side wall of your luggage. I also feel that with more flat surfaces, it is easier to clean, at least on the outer faces where it is visible, than the regular metal stand from Hercules. The gear mechanism makes it easy to fold, without having to wrestle against it.

A good stand for good money.
Wasn't sure if its gonna work or not but it surprised me. Had to buy a stand for my bass guitar. A light weight stand that can easily get in my gig bag. Ultra compact design helped me to get in bag pockets easily. Looks classy on the stage too. Could be a bit more sturdier but still works really good.

Good product. Designed for unplugged guitars
If you use this stand for an acoustic guitar that is plugged in, please note that the last me out jack messes with base of stand. Guitar stands askew. The build and look is great if you can get past that.

Small, sturdy and easy to use.
I am a learner guitar player in my 70's in goa, sometimes go to open mic gigs on the beach so need something sturdy and strong to hold up again people walking by on the sand.

Best for the bucks. Go for it blindly if you gig regualrly. But won’t fit well for Bass Guitar’s
The best you can find for the budget. Very portable and handy. It fits well for both acoustic and Electric. I bought three of these

Nitro Finish Safe
I have several guitars with nitrocellulose finishes. This is the first stand I've ever used that truly does not seem to react with nitro finishes. After days on the stand, I can see no signs of any melting paint on my guitars. With the good out of the way, I should mention the bad. The stand is a bit flimsy and not the most stable, but it has a low center of gravity and shouldn't be unsafe for your guitar if you're careful. If you don't need the folding ability and protection of nitro finishes, there are cheaper and more stable options available from other manufacturers. To summarize, this is a great option to protect vintage paint jobs and folds to be very compact and portable.

Nice portable option
Happy with this for my acoustic guitar. Sturdy, small form factor, easy to collapse and transport.

Great portable stand
Great portable stand. I use it for my electrics, folds up small and slides right into a gig bag pocket. Have to be sure the guitar is placed in the stand securely, but I always do that anyway
