Usually the case is the item with the least thought put into and is where a company will cheapen out. Even the case is well designed and wonderful in many details. The light itself is awesome. Bright, light, sturdy, compact, beautiful. If you're looking at this light most likely you've already done a decent amount of research...If you're on the fence just jump. It's worth it. Btw, I shoot doc and narrative on Sony, Canon, Red... 35mm and medium format film. I use it on everything.

I purchased this light to work on some youtube videos and have more consistent light while I film them. The light does everything that it promises and at a very reasonable price. Pergear was whom I purchased through and I have had several products from them that have all been great and function really well. I would highly recommend this light to anyone looking for a fair priced professional grade light.

The Aputure 120D M2 is better than expected. The build quality and versatility of this light makes it a top pick for video lights. The power source is separate from the head unit which makes it more versatile for mounting the light on different stands or setting it in a table. It also has different lighting modes for various production needs. The increment levels are precise and produces and bright clean light.

Lots of nice improvements to the COB120d. A bit more light output, combined power supply and control box, better cable system, improved mounting yoke, and some special lighting effects. I enjoy using my original COB120d, and adding this new version is a great addition to my lighting kit. I also have an Aputure LS1/2, and the common wireless remote system for these 3 lights makes adjusting levels from camera position VERY quick and easy. I also added Aputure's new barn door product, which is well designed and highly recommended.

This light is absolutely incredible. From the programming effects to the design of the yolk, this is a huge step up from the first iteration. It’s so bright, it’s true to color and it’s so easy to bring on sets. The case is amazing, and I feel everything packs together nicely. Powerful and the fact that the power supply and control module are in one is such a underrated feature. I hate cables and having removed 2 from my set by having this light instead of another. Great buy and I might pick up a few more!

The light is pretty expensive but it is well worth it. Really excellent.

The media could not be loaded. I spent $800+ on the Aputure 120d Mark 2 - ordered it to my girlfriends house where I'm staying at because we just had a newborn baby, was super excited to use it for the video I was contracted to complete at a specific date......but I then find out that handle on the yoke used to lock the light in place did NOT work at all which made the light completely useless to me because it will NOT hold up the light dome in place.I'm VERY frustrated... to say the least.To make the matters even worse, I then had to pay $60 for shipping to send the item back because I was unable to receive a replacement from the seller (why? I have no idea)... I can only hope there are no more issues refunding 100% of my money......and I will purchase from somewhere else because this was an absolutely TERRIBLE experience I had with this seller.

This light is high quality, easy to use, travels well, and creates beautiful light. We use it for wedding and event videos and have been so pleased.
