Steel Hitch for Burley Bike Trailer for Kids 12.2 MM Hitch Compatible with Burley Bee Honey Bee and Old Trailer Models Work with Disc Brake

Exactly What I Needed For Burley Cub and Disk Brakes. I have a Cannondale F8 bike with disk brakes and the hitch connection of the universal style hitch of the older 2004- 2006 Burley Cub Trailer wouldn't clear the rotor. This coupler/ adapter works perfect and is exactly what I wanted. It mounted easily on my quick release through axel bike and this one provided perfect and easy to attach offset. Included pin is great and love saving money over the Burley one, (roughly $20) vs roughly $10 for this one. It allows a simpler, quick, and clean connection. Trailer attaches and pulls excellent with no coupler movement, (I snugged it down as you should and haven't had any movement or rotation as some reviewers complained about). Nice uniform finish and very beefy. This is my only drawback at this point. Its a bit heavy. Tested on a multi- terrain 6 mile trip with 50lb load so far. I will update with any other feedback that would reflect anything less than a 5- star review.

Simple, not expensive, easy to install, and works perfectly. Added this to a new bike with 12mm thru axles for easy trailer attachment. Super easy install, perfect fitment.

I purchased this product to have an additional hitch for a second bike to attach a Burley Bee Trailer. It is cheaper than the OEM product and comes with a spare hitch pin which is helpful, but may be difficult to install in the Burley Bee itself through the safety strap from further observation. It installed just as easily as the OEM Bee hitch to the bike and i have had no issues in attaching my Burley Bee to this hitch and using it. Would purchase (and might do so shortly) again in the future. Since it is a new product (to me) i can't comment on its durability compared to the OEM hitch as of yet.

This is a far more cost-effective replacement for a Burley trailer hitch than the brand name model. This hitch fit several of our bicycles without any issue, including one with disc brakes. After four months, I have not seen any sign of loosening or warping. It has pulled a 90+ pound fully loaded two kid Burley trailer without any issues.

Works perfectly to hitch our Burley Encore X. It is nice to have a hitch on all of our adult bikes so the trailer can be switched between bikes easily. It works just as well as the one from Burley, but at a fraction of the cost.

Sturdiness is not a problem. It's tighter than OEM for my burley bee but so far in limited use that has not been a problem. It's just a little more time consuming to get it on and off.

Bought this for our Burley bike trailer that we originally purchased for the grandkids. They have outgrown it, and we are now using it as a bike trailer at the beach. The new design is much quicker to connect and disconnect allowing us to unhook the trailer and go for morning rides Was very easy to install this and the connector that goes in the aluminum tube on the trailer.
