If you are looking for a crimper that dose pass through connectors, this is not your tool. Its made for non-passthrough connectors. The cable strippers blade is nice a sharp and applies lots of pressure, so Sharpe that if you make more then one-rotation, you have a good chance of cutting the internal strands of wires and having them break on you, then you have to redue everything again.

Very nice set! I recently moved into a house and my first order of business was to run whole-house Ethernet and Coax. Well made, easy to use, and the carrying case is a nice touch.

This is a great set but mine showed up with the ratcheting mechanism simply not functioning, no mater what I did, couldn't make it work. It was the only item not in a clam shell and I stupidly opened them first. Check the mechanism and if not working, return the unit. I'm going through an RMA as I really like everything else.

This is a decent starter kit. My only complaint is with the rj45 crimper. It's a standard, non pass through. It's hard to find non pass through rj45 ends anymore. It also cuts a bit deep when stripping the cable jacket, so watch for scoring on your wires!
