HTC Instrument 288-ATH Plastic Digital Indoor Outdoor Hygro Thermometer with Clock

If you are looking for a temperature meter with humidity then you can blindly trust on HTC instruments the accuracy is too the point even though i am using many electrical clamp and multimeters which are best in quality

accuracy is ok has a deviation of around 1 degree celcius, outdoor temp is correct as per Google search. hanged the device on wall and is working perfectly, humidity meter is also accurate although the smileys on my device worked on dry mode only comfortable mode smiley was not working. even though the humidity was 52 %.

As far as I understand, it works fine. The temperature shown is accurate, as compared to the thermostat switch. However, I am not sure about the accuracy of the humidity, as I do not have meters to compare. For my small incubator project, the accuracy was not necessary, I just want to know that there is enough humidity. So it has done the job.

The outside humidity is not readily available at the touch of a button if you use the hygro thermometer indoor only the indoor humidity is shown, for outdoor humidity you need to place the hygrometer outside; when outside it shows the outside humidity accurately. the outdoor sensor only records outdoor temperature.

This is a good product. I use it for my chicken egg incubator. I use this to measure the temperature and humidity inside the machine. The only problem I had was that it only measures the temperature inside and humidity shown in the display was outside humidity. So the I had to buy another hygrometer and put it inside my incubator to check the humidity. Overall it’s a pretty good product.

The reading show on the device is 20 degree plus when it's sensor probe is dipped in swimming pool. Is shows 51* C when actual water temperature is 30.8 degrees. The pool heating system is set to 35 degree Max. However, one cannot swim if the temperature of water is 51 degrees.

Really happy with the product - assuming that the readings are accurate at this point. Very clear display and easy to configure and use it. Love the fact that it beeps with critical updates or for every hour (or both). Sadly, what I've noticed is that the humidity level shows 90+ usually unless I switch on AC - which then drops to 50s for a while and then slowly creep up as soon as the temp rises again. I can guarentee you that the room temp calculation is spot on, however, I'm not so sure about the accuracy of the humidity level.
