Great for olive-toned, sensitive skin!
So I've just turned 38 and used this for the first time on my 38th birthday! What with running around behind a toddler, winter skin (sallow and dry) and just generally neglecting my beauty reginem for a while now, my face has seen better days! The main things I'm trying to address before the summer are some hyperpigmentation (dark spots-- I'm olive-skinned and this is a big problem for me) along my jawline and even a bit down onto my neck from a breakout a couple of months ago as well as general dullness and uneven skin tone. Big, congested pores on my nose and inner cheeks (adjacent to my nose). I've also purchased a few other new products - the Acure brightening facial scrub (BUY THIS!!) and the Athena Beauty and Soul facial wash to be switched-off every other day - and used this mask after using the facial wash. I applied it with a facial application brush (for a few bucks, it's definitely worth buying so as not to waste product and get a nice, even coat). I have very sensitive skin and can't stand artificial fragrances nor many commercially-used preservatives (yes, I'm that sensitive!). Someone mentioned the cinnamon as the ingredient that causes burning for some people; with all due respect, that's utterly ridiculous. Cinnamon powder is, literally, the LAST ingredient. It's not burning anyone's skin. Folks: This is an ACID mask. Glycolic acid to be exact. If you have sensitive skin (or just aren't used to acid treatments), it will most likely tingle. That said, it's only 1% Glycolic, so nowhere near the strength of an actual glycolic peel. Even so, I was a little scared to use it because I did try an actual peel years ago and it DID burn my skin, leaving what looked like road rash along my jawline which then left hyperpigmentation for MONTHS afterwards. It looked like a beard....not quite what I was going for! But I digress... back to this mask. I would describe the feeling for just the first couple of minutes as a "strong tingle". I wouldn't say it rises to the level of burning. That's not to say that someone with even more sensitive skin couldn't experience burning, but just my experience with my otherwise sensitive skin. If you've ever made yourself an at-home (DIY) face mask and used lemon or apple cider vinegar, then this mask tingled less than ACV for me.I left it on for 10 minutes that first time and removed it with a wet, tepid washcloth. My skin felt nice and smooth and soft (though the scrub mentioned above had left it feeling that way the day before, so hard to say if it was even smoother!). I had a tiny spot on the bridge of my nose and another on one temple that were a little pink and felt a little sensitive, but I just held a cool washcloth on there for twenty seconds or so and followed with a light moisturizer and it feels fine now (the next morning) with no marks or darkening of the skin. And actually, this morning, I feel like the skin in those spots is just a bit smoother than the adjacent skin, so maybe it would have been good if my whole face had had that little bit of extra tingle? Anyway.... Overall, I'm really happy with the first run! No dry, flaky skin. No peeling. It may be wishful thinking, but I feel like my overall skin tone is slightly more even this morning (my husband thinks so too). I'll definitely keep using this once a week and will update my review if and when I see any longer-term effect on the hyperpigmentation (no quick fixes for that, I'm afraid). So far, so good!

smooth like pumpkin
I have combination skin, and use this product occasionally, but already for many years, and really love it. makes my skin smoother and brighter. Easy to apply, like fine jam texture, has a distinct pumpkin smell and color. Always look for a deal, price changes sometimes more than 2 times.

Smells Lovely!!
I wanted to try this pumpkin face peel as a remedy to help my skin turnover rate. I have suffered from acne since I was 16 & it seems to have worsened slowly these past 3 years from most likely hormonal changes (I'm 30 and do not take oral contraceptives, so I know my body is just betraying me).My back story:(Skip this section to read my actual product results)At first, I was suffering from a couple cystic acne on my chin & jawline and some breakouts on my forehead and chin. Then, silly me, I tried to use OCM with a 1:1 ratio of castor oil and hemp seed oil. It started to clear up my skin the first 2 weeks or so, but I think I overdid it. My skin felt overexfoliated & irritated from wiping my skin off with an old but clean cotton t shirt. I went from using OCM to cleanse my skin every 2-3 days to cleansing my skin once a day, then twice a day in a span of 3 and a half weeks. The second day after I started washing my face twice a day using OCM, i noticed my skin felt raw & started breaking out like crazy!! That's when I knew I had to ditch the OCM to let my skin heal. After two weeks of washing my face with a non-foaming, non-drying cleanser. I decided to but this product because I read it would be gentle enough on my sensitive, yet acne prone skin.Product results:When I first put this prodyct on my face, It started to burn instantly, so I washed it off 20 seconds later. I did some reading on this product & read that some people experienced initial burning sensation that subsided after a couple minutes at the most.I figured my skin felt the burn because it was still a bit raw so I waited 4 days to try again. My 2nd attempt at using this face peel, I felt the burning sensation again but it went away after 3 mins. 10 mins later, I rinsed my face with cold water and gently patted it dry. I noticed a slight reduction in all my pre-existing acne with slight redness that went away after 5 mins or so.I have used this product 3 times now & I have noticed a reduction of my "old" acne. I still get new acne, but not as much. slowly but surely, I do see improvement in my skin overall. I will have to keep using this product to see its full effects.

Give it a try great cream!!
I recently tried out the Andalou Naturals Brightening Mask, Pumpkin Honey Glycolic, and I have to say, I'm impressed! At first, I was a bit taken aback by the tingling sensation on my skin, but I soon realized that it was just the glycolic acid and vitamin C doing their job. After washing off the mask, my skin felt so soft and looked noticeably brighter. I love the fact that this mask is both exfoliating and brightening, making it perfect for those days when my skin is feeling a bit dull. One thing I absolutely loved about this mask is the scent. The pumpkin and honey aroma is just divine and adds a luxurious touch to the masking experience. I also appreciate that this product is made with natural ingredients, which is a huge plus in my book.Overall, I would highly recommend the Andalou Naturals Brightening Mask to anyone looking to improve the look and feel of their skin. While the tingling sensation may take some getting used to, the results are well worth it. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!
