Manfrotto MKBFRTA4BK-BH Befree Advanced Aluminum Travel Tripod Twist, Ball Head

This product though, well made, is not what it claims to be. The product spec states it can handle 8Kgs or 17lbs.I mounted a Nikon D850 with a 200-500 mm lens. I weighed the camera and lens and it turned out to be approx around 3.5Kgs say even 4 Kgs. The shake in the camera was like they show an earthquake in the movies, I could even notice the strain in the legs. So I quickly removed the camera and lens and packed it back and am returning it. However the mechanism is well tuned and the ball head works well. Go for this tripod, only if you will not use heavy lens.

I was excited to get my hands on this tripod because of the twist lock. However, the twist lock in this particular tripod is very cumbersome to use because its not a one twist and pull method. You have to almost un-screw a few times before the tripod legs are able to extend. Also, one of the legs is harder to extend than the others. Maybe it is a manufacture defect? I think i'm going to look into a different tripod.

Phenomenal Tripod. Supremely stable, light-mid weight, not too heavy at all. Pairs very well with Manfrotto D1 Backpack. Super Versatile!I was a bit skeptical at first because it's such freshly released item, but I'm totally convinced of it's power.PS: I use it with my Sony A7Rii Mirrorless FF Camera

There was no least. It was the perfect travel device for shooting video and the occasional still photograph. It's light and travels well and is the perfect tool in that you can forget that it is with you. I usually travel with basically two cameras and three lenses but now I cannot conceive of traveling without this travel tripod.

This tripod is a lifesaver, I use this for everything. I have multiple tripods for multiple applications but I have to say this is the most versatile tripod I own. I highly recommend this tripod for anyone.
