Q: How to do you tell the difference between the lapis and sodalite? They are very similar and not marked in the box.

I'm gonna add, lapis lazuli is a crystal made of of 3 other minerals: Lazulite, pyrite, and sodalite. Sodalite by itself has white streaks, whereas lapis lazuli has gold flecks present throughout the stone due to the presence of pyrite in its mineral compound. If you find gold flecks, it's definitely lapis lazuli.

Q: Has anyone else had any problems with the dye color coming off? I read a few reviews where people claimed the dye bled?? Thank you.

Sometimes die is use on natural stones to enhance the color. The die does come off. It is not uncommon the treat stones to enhance the color. Even semi-precious stones are treated It is everywhere the oranges we buy at the supermarket are treated to make them look more attractive to the buyer. They really don't come off the tree perfectly orange.

Q: Is there oils in them or do you have to put oils in them

They are empty except for the gemstone chips. If you want oil in them you need to add it yourself

I don’t see why not, if you can get essential oils out of them. Might come out to much . Don’t know how to make lip gloss
