You will have to drill in to your car.
This product is amazing. Felt like a real body repair guy ;D. The finish is fantastic and all in all a great product. You will need to drill into your bumper but given your options of this of a new bumper whats f***ing it up more gonna hurt. i will say i lost a nut on one of them from the vibration of my car so tighten them down good and prob use lock tight for that extra grip.

Nice sturdy switch
I used this switch to replace the junky switch that came with my under hood LED kit. The switch that came with the kit was flimsy and wouldn’t keep the light on without twisting and wiggling it. This switch seems very sturdy and works first time every time I open the hood. I don’t expect it to crap out anytime soon so I’m giving the second one to a friend. Would definitely buy again.

These are already rusting and oxidizing
I've had these installed on my car since early November 2024 and here with winter weather in NY the black latches are already oxidizing and the pins are rusting were the nuts are tightened. I would say that if you didn't daily drive the vehicle or have salted roads during the winter these latches might be a good option. One of the good benefits is if your hood pin is not exactly straight wich may happen on many modern vehicles, the design still allows the latch to work.My hood pins are at a slight angle because of my make and model vehicle and the ball design really helps with securing the hood.So far at 80mph highway travel I see my fiberglass hood flexing in the middle because I don't have a center latch and these hood pins are holding the hood down really well. The only reason for the low score is because of the oxidation and the rusting of the pins....

Almost costed me my life
Latches let loose at 100mph and let the hood fly up and smash the windshield blowing glass into my eyes and I couldn’t see on a 2 lane road trying to slow down hoping I don’t collide with someone else. Extremely dangerous, I was lucky and was able to stop before hitting anything. Latches were still securely fastened to the hood and the studs were secure on the core support, they literally just let go for no reason.

The pro ones are really strong.
Love that they actually worked for what I needed it to. They are very strong very stable as for installing well that's what the husband is for. Not used as intended for but then I was trying to use on a drop down shelf and they were perfect.
