I got this for my dad as a Bday gift. He loved it a lot.Good that Saregama brought out the Bengali Version..which has also got a good collection of Hindi classics.Now for the Pros and Cons.PROS :* Good collection of songs.* Loud and good speaker.* Good retro design and well built.* FM Radio works well.* Plus added advantage of using it as a Bluetooth Speaker and a USB plug and play device..CONS :* Not a con thou, but i wish the battery capacity was a bit more. But its fine as this is mainly for home use only..Thanks to SaReGaMa for creating such a product 👏 and also to Amazon for the hassle free on-time delivery of the product.👍😊😊

it's a handy old style transistor kind of product with built in library of a large number of Bengali songs. In addition you can use it as a FM radio, listen o songs from USB storage. Excellent gift item for senior citizens who like to have a portable device that can play songs from various artistes and of different genres. I think the sound quality is clearly not the best but that is understandable given we can't expect a high fidelity sound system from a handheld transistor. The price is also a bit on the higher side. The body is a bit too plastic but I liked the retro look and it is quite light.

I gifted this to my in laws and they are so happy to get this,very satisfied and easy to use, many options of songs, good sound and signal quality. Must buy for elders.

A must buy for any music loving family. A product for all age groups. Even the new generation can find ways to enjoy the product, with the pen-drive to play their own playlist. The collection of songs is simply awesome... one can lay their ears on so many rare numbers. And the interface is so simple that even senior members of the family can use it easily. An awesome concept, an awesome compilation and an awesome product that can be carried anywhere from the bathroom to that jungle picnic.To end... the nostalgic radio look really carries us to so-so many years back when radio was the thing that we would wake up.. and sleep after the last song program would end, at 1am.

The charger supplied was broken and the remote is non functional. Seems like a deliberately packaged faulty product. It was for my elderly mother and she could not unbox until now when my nephew visited her and found that the charger and remote are broken. The radio is working and we do not have anyone from Amazon to help sort it for us. Billion Dollar company at our expense? At least give us what we paid for? Why cheat and hide behind policies??

Being a Bong, I purchased a Saregama Carvaan Bengali and a Saregama Carvaan Hindi. Excellent collection of songs, easy maneuvering/ change in types of songs while listening, and good sound quality (a little bit poor in the Hindi version). Most awesome is the simplicity in surfing across songs in these days of 'complex' gadgets. Thanks Saregama, to provide us many almost forgotten beautiful evergreen songs. By alternatively using them, I spent most of the time during the lock down in last four months.

I bought this for my mother. She wanted to listen to some music especially sharma sangeet in her free time but her only problem is that she could not operate smart phone.So when I ordered this,she was bit sceptical about the purchase and like a typical indian mother she thought I am wasting my money on this.But once the product got delivered and I put the caravan mood to Devotional , a shyama sangeet immediately started playing, she got so happy and she hugged me and said thank-you.All the money spent on it was worth it.Thank you sa re ga ma pa.And to the person/team whose idea it was to manufacture something so wonderful.
