This is a genius piece of equipment for awesome coffee on the go. I bought this for my camper van and it's almost perfect. The only limitation is the quality of coffee you choose.it only has enough power for 3 or 4 coffees between charges, but it doesn't take long to recharge. Not cheap, but worth every penny if you appreciate your coffee and you travel.

I really wanted to like this but I just can’t recommend it. Poor design makes it for the most part incompatible with nespresso pods. I bought it to use with nespresso capsules in my camper van but just doesn’t work with any I have tried. I’ve wasted at least 20 capsules and had three or four expressos. Once you have inserted the capsule which gets easily pierced by the sharp protruding prongs, you switch it on, heat the water and then try and dispense. What I think should happen is the machine pressurises and then forces the capsule on to the plastic piece with raised bits which should then pierce the other side of the capsule allowing water to filter over the coffee and out. Well it doesn’t - so it’s not really fit for purpose. Contacted Wacaco and sent a video and they just sent me another! Not unsurprisingly that doesn’t work either. I can’t be bothered with the back and forth to what is presumably their warehouse in China so I’ve got my money back by selling them on eBay! I imaging they work fine with ground coffee but that’s not why I bought it.

It is the best

Firstly I like the quality feel of this and does seem well made. Unfortunately making a coffee in practice has been poor. I bought as I go camping and thought as the advert says I can get 5 cups on a charge so I figured I could get 3 coffees at 120ml each on a charge and no problems. Nope! Over 10 mins to heat up 120ml and battery nearly dead. Either I had a dodgy unit or it's just the way it is! Pity as I really wanted this to work as many others only seem to have an 80ml max.

Worked well for a bit more than a Month but now stopped piercing capsules. Had the same issue with other device from wacaco in the past

The coffee maker’s performance is unsatisfactory. Despite fully charging it overnight, I was able to brew only two cups of coffee using 80 ml of water at 92 degrees Celsius. The third cup unfortunately failed to brew after only one minute. The brewing time for 80 ml of water is approximately five minutes. I only used coffee capsules in the process.

Amazing product I make espresso anywhere..lol At my desk at work etc. I use blonde espresso from Starbucks and this portable 20 bar espresso machine makes the most delish espresso. easy to use but it does take like 3 mins to heat up and dispense coffee so it is not going to make quick espresso shots like a regular machine at home would But it gets the job done and produces nice crema as well.

Saca un buen café. Compatibilidad con cápsulas nespresso total. También puedes usarlo con café molido, obviamente es en esta manera cuando más rico, para mi, esta. La batería un poco justa a mi parecer pero suficiente. De momento la máquina funciona a la perfección.

perfect and easy to use and a good espresso shot everywhere

This unit is awesome. I love my coffee and espresso and have dozens of wayto make both. It is somewhat of acpassion for me socafter having, using and loving their Nanopresso for years, I decided to give this a try for the convenience of not having to always boil water separately and also not havong to manually pump thw machine to build the pressure. I also love that this comes with the ability to also use Nespresso pods for when you just want a quick and easy double espresso. After playing with the grind size to find what works best for this machine I can confidently say that this is a great unit. I love the different brew temperatures that it allows you to use based on whether you're using a dark medium or light roast espresso I also like that you can add a pre-infusion or just do a direct brew as well. Typically what I like to do is bring my water almost up to temperature using a kettle and then just use the heating element in this machine to bring it to the exact temperature for my specific brew. I would highly recommend this unit if somebody's looking for something portable to make a great single espresso, Douglas espresso or Longo coffee. Also, this unit is very quick and easy to clean up after making an espresso much easier than my Nanopresso machine.
