Great book. Good for exams. And good information.

Except for the intolerable spelling & grammatical mistakes (and pretentiously pompous language), the book is quite useful for beginners in Kathak.Getting an editor to clean up the language is the least the author should have done, so that this book could have had an international appeal.

Very informative book for bigganer who is learning kathak.

A very nice basic book on Kathak for all the students of 1-3 levels of Kathak..and that too in English for all those who has lost the habit of reading and writing in Hindi!...

Must have for all kathak dancers.
