Let me start with the fact that the quality and detail of this Dirndl is STUNNING. The ONLY problem I found with it was trying to find the right size. Trying to find the correct size with any online dirndl dress is hit or miss. But they do try to help with size charts etc. I'm returning this only to get a different size.Dirndls tend to run smaller in general. They're supposed to be snug and form fitting. If you have a larger chest I would size up another size. But truthfully, the top part is small because it's designed for "the girls" to come up and out and say hi. Not to contain them down into hiding. There's no room for them there.Everything else about this outfit is beyond quality. LOVE the side zip instead of back zip. It makes it so much easier to get into the dress if you have a pear shape body and have a tightness issue trying to get into the dress.Everything is double line and thick quality construction. Even little details of hidden buttons to hold the apron up in front to prevent it from sliding down. The apron on this design is just a little heavier due to the beading on the bottom edge. And let me say that the beading is exquisite and so sparkly. The picture doesn't do it justice!

I didn’t have high hopes for this dress but I was pleasantly surprised! The beaded apron is stunning! It fit true to size. Can’t wait to wear this in Munich this October.

First.. if you are of a bigger size, but don't have the chest to go with it, this dress isn't for you. I am between sizes. A 50 is too small, and this 52 was a bit bigger. And just because I am 5'9, 228, I do not have large boobs. So, I had to have a friend take the back apart and make it a bit on the smaller size. Once she helped me, it fit perfectly. Everyone wanted to know where I got my dirndle. They assumed it was from Germany. I found great shoes to go with. Take it from a German dancer, this is a beautiful dirndle, but it's a costume and not a traditional dress.

I bought this for a German-sponsored Octoberfest and was happy with the purchase. It was a nice dress rather than being a costume. Good quality and packed well. I highly recommend it.

This dress is so well constructed and beautiful. The bodice is lined and there is a heavy duty zipper on the side to fasten the dress. The ruching around the neckline is great. The bodice and skirt are of a matching background color while the bodice has a small floral print and the skirt is solid with a wide band of a large floral pattern around the middle. The apron is lace with beaded flower clusters in pink. The material is heavy quality and will hold up. This is not a Halloween or costume dirndl. I bought a dirndl blouse separately to wear under it and also white knee high lace socks because this is the traditional look. I think I would pair it with a brown shoe as the traditional black would be too harsh paired with these light colors. So, for warm weather my outfit is mostly complete. Although, I am thinking it would be nice to obtain a jacket, hat, and coordinating shawl and/or neck scarf for colder weather.

I get SO MANY compliments on this from my German Society friends! They are all jealous of the craftsmanship. Be sure to order up a few sizes from what you would regularly as it runs quite small. I went up two sizes, but three would have been even better. I'm 5'8" and at 140lbs a 40 is comfy; at 148lbs it's quite snug; normally I would have ordered a 38 but thankful for reviews that said it runs small. Wish I could justify buying more in different colors! It's truly gorgeous and I love every excuse to wear it.

Beautiful! I purchased several dresses to find just the right one for an Oktoberfest party I was throwing. This dress was “the one”. The fabric, detail and quality of this dress are perfection! I am 5’6/125lbs and the dress hit mid calf. After purchasing and returning the size 2 and 4 - I settled on a size 6. I typically wear a size 0 or 2 and I sized up to really accommodate my chest (32 G). The size 6 was snug around my chest and someone loose everywhere else - but I was able to cinch the waist tight with the ribbons on the front and the apron. It looked perfect! Highly recommend.

I was skeptical buying this, the price is very reasonable and I was afraid everyone at Oktoberfest would be wearing similar ones. However, I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, this is beautiful in person. The quality is quite nice for price point. We just returned from Munich and received so many compliments on this dirndl. Also, was mistaken as Bavarian several times. Friends of mine who are locals there thought I had it custom made and were surprised when I said I purchased it on Amazon. There are a lot of local stores to buy dirndls at once you’re over there, close to the Oktoberfest festivities, but most of them were cheap looking/costume type dirndls and the prices ranged from €30-80. True dirndls hit below your knee. I’m 5’2” and this came mid-calf on me. This one was perfect! I’m so happy with it. I’d highly recommend purchasing a more authentic looking dirndl and would definitely recommend this brand to a friend.My only note: They do run slightly small. I’m a US size 8 which I think is supposed to be a 38, but I ended up with a 42 that fit comfortably.

It is a very nice Dirndl dress and good quality. Unfortunately the seller doesn't provide a sizeguide so I ordered a UK 18 hoping it would be a German EUR 46 BUT it was only a EUR 44.

The dress was beautiful however was 2-3 sizes too big. I returned immediately, unworn, I hadn't even opened the packaging for the bodice as I could tell instantly it was going to be way over sized. It's been over 2 months and I have yet to receive I refund. I would never have purchased an item of this price if I thought I wouldn't be refunded if it wasn't right, honestly with the price and the amount of people having issues with sizing I wouldn't recommend it.

Ich habe das Dirndl 3x bestellt, bis ich die finale Version hatte. Die erste Bestellung war defekt. Ich habe mich auf die Kundenbewertungen verlassen, da viele meinten, dass es klein ausfällt und man lieber eine Nummer größer bestellen soll.Diese Erfahrung konnte ich nicht teilen. Eine Nummer größer war Obenherum viel zu weit gewesen. Es hat an der Seite zwar besser geschlossen, aber generell muss ein Dirndl vernünftig am Körper anliegen. Darum habe ich es nochmal eine Nummer kleiner bestellt. Ich trage prinzipiell in allgemeinen Kleidern eine 38/40. Ich kann bei diesem Dirndl sagen, dass es meiner tatsächlichen Kleidergröße 38/40 entspricht. Es macht, mit der richtigen Dirndl Bluse, ein sehr schönes Dekolleté.In den negativen Bewertungen stand oft drin, dass das Kleid gar nicht passt. Warum bestellt man nicht einfach zwei Größen, bevor man negative Kommentare hinterlässt? Es kommt oft vor, dass der Schnitt einfach nicht für jedermann gemacht ist. Das ist auch bei anderen Marken der Fall. Vielleicht entspricht das Dirndl einfach keiner sogenannten Schmeichelgröße?Was die Schürze betrifft, die Verarbeitung ist Gut und optisch macht sie einiges her. Für unter 100 Euro kann man keine Krügerqualität erwarten. Die Perlen sind beim Auspacken nicht abgegangen, bei der ersten Bestellung leider schon. Es riecht auserdem kaum nach Chemie, wenn man das ein paar Tage aushängt, verschwinden sämtliche industriellen Gerüche.Zur Farbe, ich muss sagen, dass ich mir das Dirndl heller vorgestellt habe, da das Produktbild auch danach aussah. Am Anfang war ich über die Farbkombination nicht begeistert, weil der Farbverlauf auf dem Bild viel schöner aussieht, als es in der Realität der Fall ist.Bei der Anprobe gefiel mir das Dirndl auf Anhieb. Die Farbe und das drumherum sehen so schön aus, dass ich es mir deswegen nochmal in der richtigen Größe bestellen musste. Auch wenn ich mir unter der Farbe etwas Anderes vorgestellt hatte, bin ich mit dieser Variante doch sehr zufrieden und bisher habe ich viele schöne Komplimente für dieses Dirndl bekommen. Ich empfehle eine schöne Dirndl Bluse mit Spitze, zbsp. von Krüger Madl, dazu.Das sieht zusammen toll aus.

Schönes Dirndl mit angenehmem Tragekomfort. Welche Stoffmischung es hat ist nicht beschrieben. Leider sind bei diesem Dirndl die Haken bei der Schnürung vorne nicht parallel angenäht.Grösse 34 passt perfekt. Bin 158 cm Gros und 48 kg schwer.
