It does not work if the room is lit , it does not work when the fan in running or if the device is placed in the flow area of AC . Has to be placed 1-2 feet above the ground preferably in a corner place . this wont work either if the place is having human movement either . Basically the blue light attracts the mosquitos and the fan just sucks them inside and traps them in the bottom container , fan doesnt kill the mosquitos , so better not to open the container for 3-4 days so the mosquitos just dies , later the container can be cleared .Fan or Light , if either one of them fails and that will be end story , if ur DIY skills are good u can find replacements and repair .Writing this review after 3 months of usage , i have placed this machine in the living room corner and switch on once the lights are out , it has done a right job , attached picture is one week harvest . i clear the container once a week or so , the light is moderately bright , more than a light lamp , if you prefer complete dark in bedroom , then switch on for 2 hours before sleeping with all lights off and switch off the machine before u sleep .ConsWIre length

It took some time for me to understand the operating instructions for this device. Initially I was confused to see no mosquitoes being trapped and thought it doesnt work and I also placed a return request with Amazon. However after contacting the the seller, I made some adjustments to the usage based on their instructions. In my case I found that operating it close to a ceiling fan makes it ineffective. I used this device with the ceiling fan switched off and it worked and did catch mosquiotoes. Some detailed operating instructions that I received from the seller are pasted below as reference for future buyers.I think this is a very good device that uses no chemicals like most other repellants. I was bit worried initially after looking at reviews to buy this device or not, but after I have ordered and using this device as per the instructions, it's working perfectly fine, Just make sure to keep the room dark, no human movements in the room should be there when it's switched on, and switch off the Fan or AC, and keep this device just a bit in height, like a work table. That's it, you need not wait for 2 hours and all as per the instructions, just 20 mins I have seen this working. And yes don't open the lid to check , mosquitoes might fly away, so open next day to check.Only cons is , it's having USB now, so need to have a mobile charger device. This is plus point also, as power will not be more, and this device might work for more months as power is less with mobile chargers.

I captures mosquito easily the ones hidden in house. I keep it in hall, at good height at corner and away from fan. Surprised to see average 8-10 mosquitoes captured everyday. Mosquitoe liquid is still needed, it will keep away mosquito but gets caught. by hunter. It's worth investment for good health, avoiding bites later in day or good sleepEdit: This is a piece of garbage now. Worked less than a year. The Seller had created a good sturdy product for 900 rs, but can't design for reuse. Why don't you make it as it as replaceable tubes. We love this product and will be OK to spend extra 300 or 400 for replacement tubes rather than buying all new again.Edit: The life of product is one year, afterwhich this will be junk. Why don't you hunter people provide replacement bulb. I bought 2. The fan, lid everything works, but hate to buy it again for 1000 rs just to avoid replace light

product is good. but it is full breakable plastic body. fan, light can fail very quickly and you have to then discard the product. their service/repair support does not exist even in the state where they manufacture. moreover the reception lady gives a harsh and cold reply when contacted and has a tone of take it or leave it attitude
