I've just had this installed a few weeks before my epic multi-day bike ride across the Rocky mountains, and at first I was worried that I would have trouble with carbon handlebars as you can't put too much torque on the stem bolts. But after a few rides, and especially after my epic ride, I've confirmed it held on without any issues. As you can see in the picture, I have attached both my garmin and go pro camera, as well as handlebar bag underneath which is everything I needed for my epic ride.My preferred configuration is using the top stem bolts to have it as high as possible, so I can have room to connect a battery pack to my garmin should it needed charging. It may not look as elegant as something flat and low, but this works for my situation as I need to install a handlebar bag underneath.The fit on the garmin is smooth and snug, and it also held on to my camera without any issues as well. As you can see, my stem bolts location are very narrow, so the adjustable space works well with what I have and they held on to the bars without any slippage (with the correct torque for carbon bars).Overall, I am used to how this looks now and will keep it on forever. Since its made of metal I don't expect it to get weaker as time goes by.

This out front mount is great! Easy to install. Really solid mount, and it looks sleek. The retention on the Garmin is really good, and I like the option to mount a light or GoPro on the bottom. You can't adjust the angle of the Garmin, but this hasn't been a problem for me.

The description states compatibility up to Garmin 1030. I have a Garmin 1040 and bought hoping it would fit. I have a specialized roubaix sl8 (2024) and added aero clip ons so I needed a mount straight out of the handlebar cover as I had no room on either side of center due to clip ons. This looked perfect and is built nice out of metal and so I hoped and bought. When I rotate the Garmin 1040 into position it hits the aero clip on bolts and sits tight against the stem so you can't access the buttons to start or stop your ride. I added a few extra washers and got it to just clear. Would use an allen wrench to push start button and toss wrench in pocket to stop at end of ride. Ended up going with Specialized's dedicated mount at 3X the price. Quality identical if not better on the Panmout just a little short in length. Hope Panmount comes out with a longer version for the 1040. Would definitely buy.

Does the job and holds way more steady than other mounts which rotate around handlebars

Very well machined, easy and very secure attachment for my Edge 530 and a light below attached via GoPro mount. Good viewing angle for computer. Incredible product for the price (I saw something essentially similar selling for ~ 100 USD). it does exactly what I wanted it to do.

This mount was awesome for holding my garmin edge 530, but the gopro mount didn't work at all.Installation was fairly straightforward, but you should mark the position of the handlebars before loosening any bolts. As soon as I loosened the second bolt, my bars dropped all the way. D'oh!The mount is well designed. It holds the display really steady and in a nice aerodynamic position. It's sturdy too. The mount for the garmin worked perfectly, even better actually than the one it came with. It was just super firm.The same cannot be said of the gopro mount, unfortunately. No matter how much I tightened the screw, the camera just flopped around loosely. Probably a manufacturing tolerance issue.

Excellent price for the unit, mount is study, had a pretty hard head-on collision and a fairly high speed tip over at 18MPH, both occasions, the mount survived, even the tab behind the computer broke.Had to go through a couple of trial and errors before finding a system that worked. But confirmed compatible with the XOSS G+ computer.Currently holding up my CECO light with their adapter, the whole setup is super slim and tighty.
