FOR THE PRICE, IT SERVES THE PURPOSE VERY WELL
PROS :- Simple plug & play, no drivers required.- Works without any issues.- Very well priced.CONS :- USB 2.0 connectivity feels a tad frustrating while transferring huge amount of data.- No installation guide.

A total waste of money.
It works but keeps switching on and off all the time.. the circuit board is junk. Doesn'tven the lightest quality. A totally worthless piece of junk.. the switch, the usb cable, the power cord are all not working properly.. a 100% cheap quality cables and product. Amazon please stop providing these kinds of stuff in ur website.

Nice but not for neophytes
The package contains all thats needed but has absolutely no instructions. I had used one of these before so was able to get this up and running quickly but this is highly unsuitable for people who have not done this before. Some instructions would be useful like how to open the case as well as what is to be done with what all is in the box

Okay, not great
Worked out of the box . while the casing is little bulky and feels like some science project from the 90s, it actually does what it claims. Usb 2.0 speed and an irritating tiny switch that needs to be turned on in order to access the hard drive. But for this price, its okay.

Poor. Looks Decent But Looks Don't Do The Work
Poor. Garbage. Nonsense. These are the words that come to my mind when I think of this product. I have the black one, not silver in color. Dunno why that is the case but thought I would throw that in just the same.Used it a handful of times - you could literally count the times it has been turned on on your fingers - and I get power failures when copying large amounts of data - anything over 4GB. Can I blame the HD? Possibly but the build quality of this product is questionable hence my questioning it.My recommendation: Pass, get a better piece, a USB 3.0 piece off amazon.com through your friends or relatives in the US. Will be better worth it - pricewise and performancewise.

How the hell to use it?
I purchased it but I haven't been able to use it because there is no instruction. And I have a sata HDD. I couldn't connect it to my PC so I took it to a friend and he said that this product doesn't support sata but only supports IDE hard drives. If that is true then why did you say that it is SATA/IDE enclosure??
