Excellent product Used it on my nexon white Removed minor hairline scratches with one application But medium scratches requires multiple applications and more product Ineffective against dense scratches For minor scratched go with your eyes closed I was not sure about these products will work But this one is working fine and worth the money

I ordered the 3M 1 Step Finishing Compound specifically for my black car, expecting it to remove light scratches and restore gloss. Unfortunately, it did not deliver the promised results. Even after proper application and effort, swirl marks and minor scratches remained clearly visible, especially on a black paint surface where imperfections stand out more. The shine improvement was minimal and nowhere near what a finishing compound should achieve. This product might work for very minor touch-ups or lighter-colored cars, but for black cars, it’s ineffective and disappointing. Pros: Decent brand reputation. Cons: Does not remove scratches. Poor results on black paint. Not worth the price for finishing work.

It does work perfectly if you use it correctly. Step 1: Clean the area with water and use microfiber cloth Step 2: Apply small amount of compound on the microfiber cloth. ( Not directly on the scratched surface) Step 3: Use dry end of microfiber to apply over the scratched area in circular motion for 2-3 minute Step 4 : let it Dry Step 5: Use polish over the area Kindly note : This will he effective on minor scratches. For example: someone scratched my tank probably with bike key in the market. If you look closely, the scratches will be visible but it will remove the whitish part which is highlighting the damaged part
