This handy little tool is excellent for numbing an area on your dog or cat before giving them an injection. It eases the pain and also helps if you have to give pets insulin or other injections. Good price but if it at least makes needles less painful for my furbaby that is the most important quality

If you are trying to cool an area of skin with zero hair or fur this works great! My dog and I'm sure yours as well has hair in the area where you need to give the shot. Even on a human head with thin hair you can barely feel the cooling pad. Again great for humans or bald dogs, does not work thru hair or fur.

I got it for my 19-year-old terrier who needed to have fluids at home. It sure was an help! Unfortunately, we only got to use it a couple times, as she passed away just a couple days after purchasing this item.

I used this on my dog hoping to numb him a little for pain relief before giving him his diabetic insulin shot, but it didn't work. I actually think this item should sell for half the price it is being sold for.

My cat loves this, even for a back rub. She has been on insulin for three years, but recently had a kidney injury requiring daily subcutaneous fluids. Between that big needle in her back every day + insulin 2x day, we knew her back had to be sore. Before this arrived, we put two ice cubes in a baggie and used that to massage and numb areas before injecting. This is easier to use and is like a massage tool which is soothing to her. I do think it’s priced about $5 too high, but for my kitty’s increased comfort, I was willing to pay it and not sorry I did.

One day I got desperate and used the Coolshot Pre-injection Numbing Device and it does really work I counted to 30 now I will do it longer to make sure it is numb I have been upset seeing her suffer this does work. I am going to order another one as a gift for a friend. My dog is a Lhasa Apso with Pom mix, it takes two people to give her the shot, she weighs 12.5 lbs and now weighs 9 lbs. this happened 5 weeks ago it has been devesting she is 10 years old I live alone which makes it harder each day I look for someone to help me hold her down or I go to the vet's office which is $10.98 fee each time I go. At this time there allowing one shot daily. The Coolshot Pre-injection numbing device has been a blessing.

Well, it seems to help. Although I received one without a cap and the instructions say to REMOVE the cap. So I tried to actually remove the part of the device that you are supposed to lay on the spot of your pet that you intend to inject the insulin (or whatever). So, another customer advised me that it should have a 'blue, rubbery cap'... mine did not. Just sayin' Would have given it 4 stars if I received a complete device with better instructions that identified parts of the device including the cap.

Hardly numbed the area
