CRAFTSMANC3 19.2 Volt Li-Ion High Capacity Battery

I bought a Craftsman 19.2 volt set (drill,circular saw, and light) a long time ago, and quite frankly, the Ni-Cad batteries didn't last long and were expensive. I bought this on the chance that it would work with my tools. It worked fine with the tools, but wouldn't fit into the Ni-Cad charger. I removed a "nub" on the battery and it fit into the charger but wouldn't charge (the charger would still charge the Ni-Cads). I screwed around with my multi-meter taking readings here and there, but I could never figure out what was going on. For a while, I actually thought it was working, because I kept using the drill and it always seemed to have full power. After a couple on months of use (!!), it finally started to wear down. At that time, I bought the proper charger and everything was fine (the L-I charger will charge the Ni-Cad batteries).If you have one of these older sets that's still in good shape, this a worthwhile upgrade, but you will have to buy the proper charger.

After wasting time on inferior generic batteries, I broke down and bought the name brand. Save yourself some time, bite the bullit and buy the name brand. It is holding up exellently.

I ordered this to replace a battery that went bad. It works much better than the original. I have used this battery in my cordless drill for many projects and it holds up better than the other batteries ever did.

This battery works well and fits well. It's all you want it to be but...it does not have the handy dandy test button that lets you see how much charge is left. If that does not matter to you, then this is the battery for you. The advertisement I read did not say it was not on there so I was a little surprised, but that explained the cheaper price. Choose carefully.

If you are using the Craftsman blower, the standard battery that it comes with doesn't last very long. This one lasts a lot longer and can replace the original when it runs out of power. I may buy a second one. If you are buying Craftsman tools, try to buy just the tool on ebay and buy these high capacity batteries separately.

Very good battery but it is a high price for replacement battery.Not just this one but all replacement batteries are.

Works great, much larger than the OEM battery that came with the hedge trimmer, lasts a very long time without losing an power, still holding a charge after 2 uses on about 40' of hedges

No battery light indicator to tell you how much time is left for tool use before needing charged. For the same price I could have got what I thought I was getting and that's a 19.2 with bat indicator. Waste of money.
