Solid back support!
This belly band is absolutely amazing! I got pregnant just when I started to train for the NYC marathon. Things were going well at first but I started to have hip pain two months in. Even though I didn't look pregnant I could feel my body mechanic changing. I got this band and got back into training without any problems. Unlike other belly bands I've tried, this is the only one that offer solid back support and hip stabilization. I never experienced any pain or discomfort running with this band. It did get a little warm at times but it didn't bother me that much. And yes, I was able to finish my first NYC marathon wearing this at five months pregnant. Yay!

Comfortable and supportive for running
I use this belt primarily for running. When I'm not pregnant I run ultra distances and wanted to at least keep up some running during pregnancy. I wear the band over the bottom layer of clothing (a tank top all summer) so I can adjust it more easily (especially after frequent pit stops). It did not get overly hot during the summer and did not chafe and is easy to put on and take off. It helps decrease round ligament pain (I don't think anything would completely eradicate it) and pubic symphysis strain and takes some of the load off the bladder plus I don't feel like the baby's getting jounced around as much. I'm short (5'3") and built like a runner and did not find this too wide at all. I got the medium and have plenty of room for expansion (currently 29 weeks 4 days). I haven't had any back pain while running which may also be due to wearing the belt.

This has been helping with my pain
I bought this band because I have been having pain in my round ligaments and I think pelvic floor. I'm not sure where the pain technically is, but everything pretty much hurts and I wanted to see if something like this would help. For example, just a little bit of walking was making me very uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. We were going to go to the Ren Fest and I wanted to be able to walk around with everyone so I bought this and tried it out. It allowed me to walk around some, not as much as I would have been able to pre-pregnancy, but it let the pain subside enough to get around. And then when I took it off I felt how much pain I was really in. So I guess it has allowed me to walk but it doesn't prevent the pain from occurring, if that makes any sense. The pain will come but the band allows for the pain to be felt later. And that's been an okay thing because then I can do Oula and I still want to be active. And I want to say something about sizing because I had some uncertainty about what size to order. Pre-pregnancy I would wear an XL skirt and given their sizing guidelines I would be wearing a Large belt. The Large was the correct size. Right now in my pregnancy I'm 210 lbs and 5'7".

Must have for pregnant runners
I love this support band for running. In my first pregnancy, I had to give up on running after the 3rd month because of round ligament, hip and lower back pain. I tried a few other bands at the time, but could never find anything that helped. I decided to give this band a try at 3 months into my pregnancy when I started to have the same pains. I am now almost 5 months into my pregnancy and I'm still able to jog using this band. I'm very impressed with how lightweight and breathable it is with the perfect level of support. Unfortunately, it wasn't as useful in other workouts though. I tried wearing it to do exercises such as squats and dead lifts but it ended up curling up at the bottom and bunching if I bent forward even a little bit. I also would not recommend it for everyday day use as it's not really comfortable to sit down in for the same reasons. Even though it is only really useful for running and walking, it is still worth the 5 star review to me because it works really, really well for that one thing. For everyday use, I would recommend MEDIZED Maternity Belt, Breathable Abdominal Binder, Back Support, One Size, Beige instead. It has great support but it's much more comfortable to sit down in and it fits better under clothes.

Good for protecting back muscles when pregnant!
I hurt my back by pulling a muscle around 5 and half months pregnant. I bought this to help support my belly and protect my back. It does work but I gave only 4 stars because if you have an hourglass figure the band will roll and dig in because the stretchy secondary belt holds the primary belt tight through 3 velcro areas. It REALLY needs about 2 more velcro areas on the secondary belt to make it more adjustable, if it had that it would eliminate the rolling. As well when the belt rolls or folds down occassionally, as it does, sometimes the velcro will rake your skin. I HIGHLY recommend the Belevation pregnancy support belly band to wear under this belt. It protects your skin from the velcro and helps hold the belt in place as you work, very good when you're plus size. I bought the 2x and I am 37 weeks pregnant and this belt will definitely extend to the end of my pregnancy. :)

The size descriptions are too vague. I bought the biggest size because I was right on the line between that and the next one down but it was HUGE and I couldn't use it effectively. With the amount of stretch it had in it, I'm sure I could have used the smaller one.Another problem - it bunched up under my belly instead of staying flat (I bought this for pregnancy support but if you had any flab at all I think it would do the same).Edit - the company has since better defined the sizing options so that ups it to 4 stars. I can't speak for the bunching issue though.

It is excellent ! life saver
At the beginning, I thought it was a little pricey. But I would like to get one with good quality and can also be used after the delievery. And I am so glad I bought this one. I have been suffering the walking pain from my bone and ligament down from my private part since I was 20 weeks pregnant. After I started to wore the band, I could walk normally without feeling any pain. I always wear the band for my hot yoga practice . so far it has been great. I can't believe I waited this long to get the band. I didn't wear the band directly to my skin, so I don't feel the sweat or itchiness issue. For all the pregnant mommy, this is a must have item if you are suffering the lower back pain or pelvic pain. It is a life saver.
